I saw an article today proving that playstation was winning in usage statistics. The figure for Xbox was 4.9%. The figure for other devices was 0.1%. The figure for the PS4 was 35%. The figure for the PS5 was 60%. The change in the console traffic share from 2023 to 2024 also showed Xbox down by 70%, Playstation 4 down by 16% and Playstation 5 up by an amazing 49%. These are dream figures for any playstation fanboy. The graph was the year in review console traffic by game console for Pawn hub.

Yes numbers are out there for them to see from leaks and there is just the things that are in front you but they will deny them. When they come say a few things but don't present anything to back up their claims that's when you know you have a troll. The last thing any of these dudes want to hear and have to possibly admit is that Xbox is far from dead. That want it dead have since last generation, because then they will feel more validated for owning a PlayStation. These dudes are so focused on Xbox they don't even pay attention to what's going on with Sony/PlayStation. The only time they do is if there's a new game they can add to their list for list wars and when Sony announces its console sales numbers.

I find it strange when people compare Sega's downfall will be the end of Xbox, when they don't even realise why Sega left the console market. Let's put some facts down. It had terrible financial management with the failure of the Saturn and all of the add-ons for their previous consoles. The Dreamcast (a great console) had to go against the Gamecube and the PS2, where the PS2, being the leading console and money-hatting game. The Dreamcast games were easily pirated. So basically, they could not afford to continue in the console market The Xbox could have ended its career in the 2013 console crash, curtesy of the arrogance of the people on top telling you, "This is a console, you can watch TV... Oh yea, and in there somewhere you can play games if you want to, with a lot of restrictions." Only saved by Phil Spencer, Sarah Bond, and I think Bonnie Ross.

I love how these people always speak about sold console numbers. It's all about the console numbers that they failed to read and understand. Just look at sony's own reports: that correspond to "shipped". Not "sold". They keep spitting the "bUt Ps SoLd MoRe CoNsOlEs" while failing to see that ms' gaming divison is slowly becoming the next valve: having a store with "all" the games, made from their own studios and also third parties, with a console as an own option to access that said store, a subscription to access some of the games and a cloud service. This is "the rabbit and the turtle" in terms of companies of games. And "the rabbit" fall through the shadow of its own success and their fans did not even notice. This is what it's hilarious

Actually, as of October 23rd, 2024, the Xbox Series X is outselling the Xbox Series S. Not by a large margin, though. It's 51% Series X and 49% Series S. Still, nevertheless, the Xbox Series X is in the lead. Meaning that commenter was incorrect.
