I've come to the conclusion that consoles are a fad, like Stanley cups or the newest iPhone - Kids want the newest thing and if they dont get it, they get picked on at school, like the kids that dont have the latest skins for Fortnite, the other kids find out, gang together and bully the ones that can't afford it. My two didn't have "the latest" console, and they were starting to get bullied. We had to get involved, worst thing is, one of the ring leaders was my best mates kid. - that kid caused severe problems within that family, he was nearly up for adoption by the end of the week! Long story short, I made my kids earn their console. Got them a Xbox, because I refuse for a PS to enter my house. - turns out, when the other kids found out they had an Xbox, they were getting bullied for that!! - Because it was the wrong console...it HAD to be Playstation.

I could be wrong but the job listing is referring to devs familiar with the XRCs/ TCRs which is a list of requirements for EVERY game that hits either platform, they must pass this checklist requirement otherwise they get rejected from being on the Xbox/playstation store. The requirements can be quite similar for both platforms minus some platform exclusive caveats

At rhe very least, not at launch since Booty did confirm Xbox will still have exclusives and he specifically named Gears of War and Perfeft Dark and saying during an interview, "It makes a great deal of sense for us to have launch exclusives like Gears of War and Perfect Dark. It's definitely a 50/50 whether those two games go elsewhere later on though

Sony and Microsoft need to come to an agreement. Exclusives between the two doesn't really make any sense anymore. Neither of the two have enough exclusives for anyone to truly be loyal to. Most people don't have multiple consoles and PC players don't care for consoles. So they should just share their games. How they will be able to sustain themselves as a company by doing that I don't know though?
