We're starting to see the end of consoles and console gaming. The next generation might very well be the last outside of Nintendo. The fact is most younger gamers are playing on PC. A lot of us older gamers are aging out of the hobby, not because we don't want to play games, but simply because we're running out of time to play. It doesn't make sense to buy 25 games a year if you can only ever finish one. We are also the gamers that are keeping console gaming alive. We grew up with console gaming, for younger millennials, maybe even their parents grew up with console gaming and passed that down to them. For younger generations, PC, which is an amazing platform, and mobile (barf) gaming is the future. I don't love it, but I am accepting it as a reality. I don't see Gen Alpha picking up a console when they have the economic purchasing power to do so.

I’m 43 and playing Judgement at present and it’s taken me 3 weeks to get eight hours from the end! We don’t have enough hours to play games as an adult with actual real life scenarios going on this is why I don’t subscribe to gamepass and tend to only play games that are 10 hours long! When was the last time the big 3 made us happy? Here is my list: Nintendo= Sephiroth reveal. PlayStation= GOW Ragnarok Xbox= Hifi Rush The future is in 3rd party. The corporations aren’t our friends and they have been failing us costumers BIG TIME. Greed at PlayStation needs some brains. This is the result of the “aggressive push to PC” they mentioned.

Hi RGT Greetings all the way from Morocco :) I have been your subscriber since the Steven Richard intro, i am happy that you came through your health issues, and quit smoking, it take a lot of bravery to quit cigarette anyway, here in Morocco the average salary is 250 dollars per month, the games are very expensives, like 90 dollars per game (new games) because the guy who went to Europe to buy the game must get his margin, the shop's owner must get his margin, and EVEN THE FREAKING CUSTOMS get their margin, that's why i have no choice to turn into piracy, i have a jailbroken PS4 Pro that i paid 480 dollars, 3 months of salaries, i can not buy games even if i want to, unless i eat rocks and dirt ^^

You should probably research things before parroting bs. Puerto Rico has had psn forever. Most publishers require a secondary account to access their games. Almost all ubisoft, EA, and Microsoft games. Can we stop having double standards for companies. Some of these countries dont allow psn yet. Nobody is getting screwed they got their money back.

These companies worry about appealing to crowds of people who care more about genders than gaming.the gamers who lived through the first crash in the 80s can see the tell-tale signs of another one coming.Im not buying the next Playstation or Xbox.I might get the Switch 2 if it's worth it.but other than that,I am not buying into the,"I gotta have the next system" anymore.I'm still waiting for a game console to take us to the next level of gaming!
