It’s sad when I’ve had a PS4 since launch day only to find out I had no idea you could login without appearing online. Love your videos. I would like to know if you already have or possibly in the future, a video where you explain how and what you’re options are for playing your PS4 away from home. I’ve heard about it, read some stuff online, but I see comments on KZbin or Reddit where players follow the steps and still are unable to play their PS4 away from home.

Hey there, I also have att fiber and I use their gateway, I don't have anything hardwired except my security system, a cloud storage device and a Netgear router used for my wifi devices including my son's ps4. Since installing the Netgear router, the speeds have decreased drastically, I'm using the Netgear Nighhawk x10. What can I do with the current setup I have without having to add a switch to get the most of my speeds? How can I configure my gateway and router to get the best results thorough my Netgear router? Any suggestion as far as settings and current setup?

Xr500 just has better wifi. Depending on your living situation you could get the XR450 and be just fine tbh if you wanted to save a bit of money

Try resetting it , there is a hole on the back use a toothpick to get in and hold that button for 15 seconds or so

Just remember that if you do appear offline then you sometimes have to do the same in certain games such as Fortnite or Borderlands 2. If you don't then anyone playing the same game as you will still see that you are online even though you are appearing offline!
