PS1 controllers are so lightweight after handling a PS5 controller. It’s crazy how far they’ve come. I agree about the glossy middle piece too.

Always know it's going to be an interesting episode when Michael Myers favorite weapon makes an appearance. your accessory collection must have a lot of range i noticed the ps2 remote had way more going on than the one on Xbox . that guncon 2 was a nice piece of kit but i used the Logic 2 Predator 3 more. i remember Dreamcast didn't have a official gun on the north American market so i used dream blasters by mad cats which lacked delay, so i they an infinite stream of ammunition 😆

My friend the Jazfather has/had two Logic 3 Predator 2 light guns, those are some hefty guns. He swore by them, I don't think it was possible to even break those things 😅. Yeah that knife likes an unboxing alright 😁, yeah I have some old & forgotten accessories in a bag that I thought would be fun to talk about just in case some people needed reminding that back in the day a lot of plastic stuff could plug into our console of choice.

11:33 I haven't seen anyone yet disassembling one of those removeable sticks. I found Hall Effect sticks for the Dualsense Edge controllers. They are on a pcb plate and come without any plastic case. I assume you can remove the plastic case, swap the pcb with the other one that has a Hall Effect stick, re-attach the case and you should be good to go. Pretty sure there is a way to remove the case. I will wait for the TMR sticks for the Dualsense Edge controller, since they are better than Hall Effect sticks.

FYI: I don't own this controller yet. Mine will arrive soon. I just realized you can theoretically remove the plastic case, desolder the analog stick and resolder a TMR stick. It appears the analog stick has the same amount of pins like replaceable Hall Effect or TMR sticks for the PS4 and PS5 controllers.

Yeah until I see someone do it well I'm not taking apart mine, I'm not particularly adept at that sort of thing and I'd probably lose or break something knowing me 🤦🏽‍♂️

Hey...if you say so because I have no idea at all, saying that I haven't had a problem with any of my Dualsense pads edge or otherwise to date. My close friend unfortunately had stick drift on his purple Dualsense after 4 weeks (he took it back and got it replaced) so I know it can happen

@@Unikronn An update: i haven't checked thoroughly for analog stick mods for the Dualsense Edge but I did now. There are Hall Effect stick mods only for this controller and you are required to calibrate it because the Dualsense Edge works differently and the calibration isn't simple enough yet to do for this controller. I found one modder where I live who can do it. Surely there are more modders. There are no TMR sticks yet for this controller and nobody has tried it yet it seems. But I guess there is a calibration issue that hasn't been resolved yet.

​@@Unikronn Is it a Dualsense non-Edge controller? Or a Dualsense Edge controller? If it's a Dualsense controller and it's still under warranty, your friend can contact Sony to replace it. Just a heads-up that the serial number is on the back side and because of the bad quality of the printing it can be easily wiped off. If either the QR code or serial number are unreadable, then sadly Sony wont accept the RMA since it needs the serial number. Otherwise, your friend can pay a modder. I don't know what modders charge in the UK but here in Germany modders charge 20 to 50€. It's most likely cheaper if you have already the TMR sticks (which are also cheap to get) and give it to the modder. As for the Dualsense Edge controller, I will wait till calibration becomes more easier and TMR sticks for the Dualsense Edge controller are available. 😊 Bonus tip: It's sad to say this but Sony doesn't care about their consumers. In case you are out of warranty, you can easily find OEM replacement parts online often for a cheap prize. It's best to know the revision number of the controller but thankfully it's indicated in the second digit of the serial number so you dont have to disassemble the controller and look at the plate.

I have the same two controllers as you. I dunno if it’s just mine, but my dualsense edge 30th D-pad and sacred symbol buttons don’t feel as good as the regular 30th anniversary dualsense controller!

I haven't noticed a difference in mine between the two, what feels worse to you? Also is this the only edge controller you own? If not have you compared the two? If you don't own another edge controller, does your 30th anniversary edge feel worse than all your other dualsense controllers? If you're not happy with it (PlayStation direct) ask for an exchange, if it was from a non ps direct store get your money back if you can't get it exchanged as the 30th anniversary edge controllers are not cheap. Man I'm sorry your purchase was acceptable for you, that's really awful when that happens.

So the original DS EDGE has a battery life of 4-6 hours..Im wondering if the battery life on the 30th aniversary EDGE has gotten any better??

F4 is Gen 4. *5 is Gen 5. And your Spider-man one is G3 - so Gen 3.

@@Unikronn No worries! I think Gen 5 is even cheaply made with plastic rod for the triggers. Gen 1 through 4 are with metal. :D
