Great review and you've given me ideas for m new racing setup ;) Motion sickness does get easier when you play more and more VR games and apps.

it's absolutely incredible in VR with my wheel. easily one of the best game on PSVR so far.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
yea i know its ridiculous. i just cant wait until the ps4 pro is used to enhance the resolution for VR games! thanks for watching ya

I can only imagine the next gta game with vr capability and move controllers, we will literary be inside the gta world. VR could be the next evolution of open wold games.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
yea it definitely could, and people would honestly not leave the house if that would happen cuz they would play all day!

Excellent video, very in-depth and thorough. I was looking at that wheel and Im thinking about investing the $350 but tell me how did you build your set up. I'm new to vr and racing but it seems like if you're going to go you gotta go all the way and get the entire set up right?
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
yea well with the thrustmaster, it sucks that they made everything separate. I had to get one by one starting from the wheel, to the pedals to the shifter. then eventually the PSVR. the chair i got from a old honda accord. and the table was just a random desk table that i cut to make lower to fir the wheel. the side part where the shifter is, i just built out of pieces of wood.

I love DriveClub VR despite the resolution. It's not a deal-breaker for me.

It really does look cool despite the graphics. Very good honest review.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
yea it does. thanks a lot yea. i tried to show what you REALLY see when you play. hopefully playstation 4 pro will be able to produce better graphics on this, but i dun ave any more money saved up LOL
@sampson31218 жыл бұрын
despite the graphics? the resolution is low, but it looks better than the compressed youtube video shows. the lighting is still better than any other racer out.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
if you play this game, (at least in the demo as what I know) if you look into the distance the graphics is pretty bad lol. as well as grass and stuff. at least your own car looks nice tho thats what matters.
@sampson31218 жыл бұрын
DriftXperience27 still has better everything else graphically when it comes to vr racing games.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
yea it probably does. i cant say for myself because the only racing game i tried in vr so far is DriveClub. So ill take your word for it!

Nice impresssions, thank you. I wish you had better audio.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
thank you! i did record with a separate microphone, but there was an important part on the playstation which did not get saved, so i decided to just use the camera audio....better luck next time i guess

nice game, but the blurry graphics fucks it all up
@bcm3OOO7 жыл бұрын
nice setup
@burngwngs7 жыл бұрын
It's blurry because you didn't adjust the VR settings in the device options on your ps4. It probably can't detect your eye distance properly. Try that.
@DriftXperience277 жыл бұрын
oh no thanks for the recommendation but thats not what i meant by blurry. my eyes can adjust to the screen almost 100%. its just the resolution of the game being low, which makes things seem blurry the farther into the game you look.

Which wheel and pedals were you using?
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
Thrustmaster T300RS Racing wheel, with T3PA-Pro Add on pedals, and TH8A Add on Shifter
@CLCYspanias8 жыл бұрын
do you need a camera for it to work? or just the vr itself?
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
you need the playstation camera. new one or the old one.
@nicholasgankc49308 жыл бұрын
We need a vr glove to simulate our hands. Or better controllers to simulate the mechanics of our hands in vr. The move controller is just too simplistic.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
that might be actually be a good idea!
@nicholasgankc49308 жыл бұрын
Allow us to open the bonnet and upgrade the engine in real life when we buy the upgrade parts.
@kaseychannler17998 жыл бұрын
You seriously need a real motion Sim to emulate those g-forces or you will keep on getting sick.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
not really, it goes away pretty fast. my new video with drifting clips, i wasnt getting any weird feelings. also, you can trick yourself by not pressing the brakes with your right foot, and pressing it with your left foot. then your brain doesnt actually think you are braking so you dont feel anything. then after playing like that for a little bit, you just completely forget any 'missing' g-forces
@kaseychannler17998 жыл бұрын
DriftXperience27 I guess everyones body is different as far as sensitivity levels. Either way It's good you overcame it but I think the motion sim would add to the immersion tremendously.
@DriftXperience278 жыл бұрын
Kasey Channler i agree 100%. everyone is different but that was the way i overcame it at least. and yes it would definitely add to it
