Woo! terrific clear instructions turned my evening around as I could not suss it out. However, not much fun for the family as I couldn't get any image on my samsung tv, the hdmi leads went around in a circuit but no pretty pictures of shark cage. Any clues you think of Sharkie? No 4k required, once you're wearing the HUD you can turn the tv off even and do everything through the HUD if you want. The tv only shows others what you're seeing through the HUD at that point.

I just got my PS4 VR and I wondered about adjusting the screen for recording. I previewed my recording and it wasn't giving me the fully screen. Looked like all the corners were all in black. I will check this out on my ps4. Hope it works. :)

What if I wear glasses, do I need to take them off? On my Samsung VR, I take off my glasses and I can see the screen clear OR does it matter? Will it adjust and fit with my glasses on?

I do not wear glasses but it is shown in the manual that if you have them, you can keep them on. do not know if it is comfortable

Say if i wanted to play a normal PS game afterwards, would i have to change around any cables to do so? Or can i switch from PS to PSVR without having to unplug and replug cables?

The psvr box is a passthrough, no need to change any cable to play nonvr games after it's all setup.

One other tidbit, you can play non be games in the headset too, and it looks like you're playing on a wall sized tv, but the visual quality will be a little lower than playing on a tv.

My son purchased his vr last November when it came out. Just ran into an issue with it after the 1 year warrantee has run out. He Spent $500 for the bundle. now it will turn on but instantly turns off. Can anyone help with this? Or is it just done?

You need two ac plugs for the ps4 and vr processor, then 1 for the tv, one for a surround sound audio processor if you have it and one if you have a charging base for controllers. I didn't measure the HUD cable, but if I guessed I'd say 12 to 15 feet easily.

@@politewify if I understand what you're asking... yes the HUD has two cables, an HDMI cable and a power cable that are plugged into the vr processor. The vr processor plugs into the ps4 via the HDMI output and a USB port. The processor has it's own power adapter as well, and can plug into your tv where the ps4 plugged in before you plugged in the psvr processor. It all looks far more complicated than it really is. It took me about 10 minutes to unpack everything brand new, then about another 10 minutes to route all the cables around my tv and entertainment stand before plugging everything in. All the required cables were included and I only looked at the instructions once to determine how best to connect the camera to the included stand and mount it on my tv.
