Can we take a moment to appreciate the sheer amount of work that went into the "melody transitions" that Sonia mentions at 6:37? The sheer amount of work that must've gone into this one feature, which is so inconsequential that I never even noticed it while playing, is actually insane. They could have just had the songs cut off and fade to ambient tracks after a fight like so many other games do, but they still went the extra mile just to make sure that all of the songs resolved when they were supposed to.

I must say, the difficulties Bear faced while making Atreus' theme paid off MASSIVELY. It is literally, without question, THE BEST song on the entire soundtrack. You will not change my mind. I have listened to his theme EVERY day, since the game came out.

The score of this game is magnificent. Bear couldn't be more right when he says that as a fan, I want both something familiar and something new. When he combines the original theme from the previous game with Faye's theme and then Atreus theme (which is amazing), it gives me chills! Truly amazing and I hope they play Atreus theme at the game awards this year!

Absolutely one of my favorite scores. The moment Thor and Kratos go flying through the air and it goes straight to the taiko drums I got flashbacks of Prelude To War. There were moments in this score that just ripped my heart out and it's such a credit to Bear and this sound team. The Svartalheim environmental themes coming back at the end, too... oof. Just a fantastic audio experience, thank you all involved!

Letting Go for me was one of the most emotional piece. Specially the part of the song when Atreus was about to leave the 9 Realms. Never got this obsessed with the soundtrack of a videogame, or movie, or anything like I did with Ragnarök. I think it's my favourite part from the in game and post game. Can't stop listening to the main theme those last 40 seconds that are the best I've ever heard. Halfway through the game, I noticed I wasn't catching some of the scores while in combat due to being so engaged in the combat system. So i went into the settings and bumped down everything a couple notches to about 7 or 8, and left the soundtrack up at 10. 100% recommend doing this. Everything feels so much more intense when this amazing score is washing over you.
