Great little series you've had, shame about the final result - but as you say, you were the underdogs, nothing to lose and everything to gain. Also to be fair, you made them respect you a bunch of times with solid plays - Rob standing his ground in those 1v1 scenarios was also very good - it takes skill and mental fortitude to be patient and not just panic / mash something, that is clearly part of their game plan with aiming to have you make mistakes. I play a lot of fighting games and watch a bunch of the competitive scene - they were essentially baiting (force a mistake as they put it) you and then whiff punishing (threading the needle with a goal) - likely concepts you know fine well about, but to me - never thought about applying it to a football game tbh, I was impressed. Finally, that one shot in the first half was sooo close to changing the whole game. Had they conceded one - you never know what woulda happened.

Rob looks so distraught and disappointed. Cheer up guys, you didn't get annihilated and also had some good chances that could easily have changed the game. I think if you could have had a warm up match and Dave had remembered his kit, you could have beat them. Great series, look forward to another one.

Well done. I think if you had swapped Mane & Salah you would have been more dangerous as each time they recieved the ball they were passing/shooting with their bad foot. The Mane chance near the end for example, if that was Salah on his left foot instead of Mane, then it could have been a different story.
