I have played this with three (3) several times. It is a good game at two but 3+ REALLY shines. Three is enough, it ads diplomacy. If you are doing good the other players try team up on you. Also if one allows playing battle cards in other players batles it brings total mayhem with some battles lasting thee rounds or both sides outflanking etc :)

I’ve never tried with more than two. It sounds a bit crazy! 🤣🤣🤣 I’ll let you know if I convince my wife to try it; she enjoys the straightforward head-to-head....

Question. At 1:16:00 you decide to move spider to monolith, but this isnt allowed right? Because hex is contested and got to get cleared before moving out of? Thx

Hi there, thanks for you comment. Actually, you *can* move out of a battle (contested hex), as long as you don't move into ANOTHER battle. From page 6 of the rulebook: (a player) cannot move a unit from one battle to a different battle. However, he may move a unit from a battle to one of his controlled hexes or an unoccupied hex.

What happens when you run out of the small cards? We keep running into this issue.
