I've been reacting to The Stupendium for about a year or more now, and as a writer and performer myself, I know how you feel. Their production values are just out of this world and since they do most of it themselves (as far as video production, song writing, etc) it's easy to watch their stuff and get a little discouraged, as they just are the top of so many different things. That said...I've definitely stepped up my writing game after watching Stupes, as their production and pen game skills only make me want to be as good as they are. Bottom line: don't let someone else's skill in something discourage you from doing that thing. If you love it, do it for you...but there's nothing wrong with striving to improve your skills based on someone else's performance. Let that motivate you rather than stop you. That's what I do, anyway. Regardless...really enjoyed this reaction, and your enthusiasm for the song. Welcome to Stupes' catalog. There's a lot to enjoy there. 😁 (Also, as a side note, Stupes uses They/Them pronouns)

It's nice tho, as sometimes folks pick up on stuff I may have missed! Everyone has different perspectives, and I think that's cool. 😁

Don’t restrict yourself to just his FNaF songs, all of his stuff is great! He steps up his game with every single release, and this was his most recent, so your reaction is understandable. Regarding creativity stuff… keep in mind your job isn’t to make the BEST, it’s to just keep making! As long as you keep making things, you aren’t failing. More content is always good, even if there’s “better” shouldn’t mean everyone else should stop.

Was curious on a playwrights opinion on stupendiums production. His writing and performances tell a story in a different particular style/angle in each video. He has 3 fnaf songs, one from early on, fazbear family, another in like the middle of his growth, back together, and then this one here.

@@TylerBuenoMusic agree with you there, a lot of work goes into stupendium projects. My fav one is called shine through, which is more of a heartfelt one in a seanic area. But another good one the check out for his set work is the poppy playtime vid called the toybox.

When you do get to checkout their DDLC song, make sure to get the original one. There are multiple variations, the original, one in a Minecraft animation style, and an orchestral remix. I personally think the original one is the best.

I have the consistent experience that his songs have more theme/flavor than the games themselves , that he drives at a core , uses his medium to tell the story differently than the medium of the game. But yes he is amazing.

I've been going around watching reactors react to this video because it's so absolutely amazing, and I think yours may be my favorite. I feel your pain on the writing talent of the Stupendium. Their production values are always amazing. Even their House Flipper song, which was done mostly so they could film themselves fixing up their new house, is a treat to watch and listen to. Its awesome how Stupendium says this song not his usual "intricate lyrical style" but it's still really involved and complex, at least to me. Though his most intricate song where he goes all out that I've heard is "THE DATA STREAM | Cyberpunk 2077" where I could unpack so much in each line.

to shore up your self confidence (or utterly destroy it depends really) you should watch one of their earlier works, those are a LOT rougher (the spark's always been there though) i personally recommend "a matter of facts" or "chairman of the board"
