I really enjoy working on these units. Very relaxing, especially replacing components on the board and going through the calibration process. I know, I am a big nerd because most would be bored but this stuff is a blast to work on.

can we check if our IFR 4000 already installed ELT option? and what does it mean micro option 1?

Yes, just hit your hardware tools and then info and it will tell you if it has elt in it. If it does not show it, it is elt capable or it has lost elt option and may need reloaded in it.

I see quite a few LVL DET 15, FRQ CTR 3, and PWR DET failures. Pretty easy fix, a few components and couple hours to calibrate and test them.
