Pleasant Knoll Middle School's Published Fantasy Author

In Mrs. Buechlein's Fifth Grade Class, Tanisha entered a national author pitch contest. Her story pitch of fairy tale characters and a stolen gem from Snow White's castle was placed in the top 20 from over 50,000 entries. Now a seventh grader at Pleasant Knoll Middle School, Tanisha's The Gem Heist has been published. She reveals how writing the book has helped her at school, tips for other aspiring writers, and how some of the proceeds from the book are helping Special Olympians.
