Love the series of jutting out bricks on the supports. Conveys the idea of being climbable. An alternative to ladders, which are always a pain to build from scratch.

A good theme, useful to all kind of game. I started with my first pieces of terrain using an old Warhammer cityscapes houses as template, next pieces were more freeform, and finally, now I make templates for every terrain that works for me, but after making it. But is good some planning ahead. Love how the visual aspect of the bricks follow the same way, it gives a cohesive look to the table. Well done!

You could use the basic geometry to create some windows that are halfway between the gothic ones that stack three or more arches, and a roman trefoil arch. Or you make a building that is raised up on a series of those arches like you might imagine would be in a drained canal city.

Thank you! It was a process, but I’m happy how everything turned out! 🤓
@Slurgical_3D_Terrain_Channel8 ай бұрын
@@DiceChatter Absolutely, I don’t use the same process to create my terrain, I do 3D modelling for it. But I want to incorporate some of the foam medium into it. No matter how great 3D modelling is, it can truly benefit from how you design terrain. My thing is modularity with a tile system as a base. In that aspect 3D printing is perfect. By combining both can be unique, like kitbashing existing models. I just started using foam glued to my tile system and really curious how it will all look at the end.

a nerdass thing that only annoys me is that you should put a keystone at the top of your arches. Not to many people put them in their builds that they and they are kind of critical to an arch being structurally sound. The romans where big fans of the concept.
