This album came along right around the time my ex Domestic Partner and I broke up after 16 years. And when I had just started dating my next LTR. And she and I split up after about 8 years, about 10 years ago. I listen to this particular song whenever I’m feeling down. Love isn’t impossible for those who still want it in their lives. This is NOT 2015. It’s from her concert tour entitled ‘Live and Alone’. Circa 1999-2000. This particular song is about when she first met her second wife Tammy. I remember seeing her during this period at City Center on West 55th street in Manhattan. It was a hot August night and I got caught in a thunderstorm just before I got to the theater. It was just a couple of weeks before the World Trade Center disaster.
