Dee you are divinely protected, but God also gave you the power of discernment to know how to keep yourself safe. I agree with you 100% that you have to be careful around women. In my 76 years of life, the most hurtful experiences were because of women who I thought were friends, even family. I no longer have any women friends I was forced to come to the realization years ago that most women in my life were not to be trusted with my heart. My best and only woman friend of over 50 years recently passed away. She was someone who genuinely loved and cared about me like a sister, as I loved and cared for her. It is rare to find a good friend that you can call family. The fact that you stated your opinion about women is going to piss some of them off, and those are the snakes God has protected you from. It is good to state how you feel about your personal space, how will they know if you don't tell them. Your mother's prayers protects you and I add mine as well. So, stay safe Dee and God Bless you. Don't forget to visit Montserrat if you have the time, you can make it a day trip and return to Antigua, Montserrat is only a 15 minute plane ride away. Dee in the Caribbean that's the norm. People show up to people's houses without making a reservation or calling. However it seems like since many have traveled out of the Islands many are changing to not liking people just dropping by without an appointment. Some people may consider this behavior rude because traditionally it wasn't an issue. However coming to someone's home so early in the morning just for a casual visit wasn't thoughtful at all. People really need to learn to respect others privacy and space.
