Pretty fluffy reasoning, largely thwarted by the fact that a person only gets one vote. If I played Go I could probably offer a more precise analogy, but I don't, so here you are: voting is like accepting gote over a minor shape difference. Almost anything else is a better means of pursuing your goals.
