The beginning of the Day Of Atonement. Yom Kippur starts at sunset, when all Jews fast and pray and dedicate to God for Forgiveness of sins for the year and prepare the sacrifice. As Christians it is important to us, because our Sacrifice has already been given, but it is still a time to repent and fast and pray and cry out to the Lord God for forgiveness.

We still have some prophecies that are yet to come to fruition e.g. Armageddon etc. I personally think that it is way too pre-mature to speak about the rapture of the church. According to Jesus in the book of John "No one except the father knows when this day will come" and then in the book of ACTS " It is not for you to know the times that the father has appointed". It is not because Jesus didn't know when this day will come but this is and will be Heaven's best kept secret. If we knew when this day would come; we would go into a sinning spree and then just when it was near enough, we would all repent and make it into heaven. God wants us to keep watch and worship Him with pure hearts and spirit and not to destroy ourselves by indulging in perpetual sin. It clearly shows that all of you are just speculating and being alarmists about something we all have no clue about. Personally, I encourage everyone to be ever ready and keep our houses clean. Jesus was speaking of this day within the parable of the ten bridesmaids. So fellas' let's keep those lamps burning and the fuel that will sustain them is our constant prayers, worship and an undying faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be with you, Amen.
