The Pleasure Beach Express is a historic narrow gauge railway at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Lancashire. Built in 1933, the Pleasure Beach Express railway has been entertaining guests for decades, showcasing scenes from wildlife in a jungle to prehistoric dinosaurs. The Pleasure Beach Express main station, initially built in 1933, was destroyed by fire in 1934 and redesigned by architect Joseph Emberton in 1935. The current Victorian-style station was constructed in 1970.
The Pleasure Beach Express is a 21-inch (533 mm) narrow gauge railway offering a unique and leisurely tour around Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The ride features scenic views and entertaining displays, making it a favorite among families and visitors of all ages. The Blackpool Pleasure Beach Express main station is located near Nickelodeon Land.
Over the years, the train's route has been altered to accommodate new attractions like ICON, and now runs in the opposite direction from its original layout. The Pleasure Beach Express operates diesel locomotives, all built by Hudswell Clarke in Hunslet, Leeds.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an amusement park situated on Blackpool's South Shore, in the county of Lancashire, North West England. The park was founded in 1896 by William Bean and his partner John Outhwaite and has been family-owned and operated since. The current managing director is Bean's great-granddaughter, Amanda Thompson.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach holds quite a few records, including the largest collection of wooden roller coasters in the UK, the Big Dipper, Blue Flyer, Grand National and Nickelodeon Streak. When it opened in 1994, The Big One or Pepsi Max Big One as it is also known was the tallest roller coaster in the world. It was also the steepest, with an incline angle of 65° and the second fastest with a top speed of 74 miles per hour.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is also home to Nickelodeon Land and the world's only Wallace & Gromit ride, the Thrill-O-Matic. In 2015 the park introduced Red Arrows Sky Force, a Gerstlauer Sky Fly thrill ride which is the first ride of its kind in the UK
