The reason I think "Pleasure Elf" is not as good as most people make it out to be is that it doesn't offer enough. I was wanting a bit more of the Elf's story after he threatened the man, but all we got were the same chorus again, and again, and again. Now, take "All about my Dick" for example. It's funny and/because its unexpected. You don't expect Smith singing about baby dicks; Ross breaking the forth wall multiple times or Trott's half-arsed guitar solo. All those elements and more make it so funny and memorable. I'm grumpy and it's 2 am, I wanted to get this off my chest.
