at first i thought you were talking low because you didn't have to shout over the roar of surf 😄. Nice change of scene. Loving the bold, big brush, "big light" approach.. such an effective lesson in first getting the foundations right.. the viewer's brain provides the "details"

Nice piece. Yeah, don't make the lines too perfect... would definitely lose something. I have two paintings by Ted Goerschner of a house I used to live in- nothing is quite straight in either painting. Part of what I love about them.
