Tell me more often about the things you learned from teachers and what you learn in the process about painting. These are valuable lessons for me. I always listen with interest.Thank you

thanks for sharing your inner thoughts on this - just painting what works for you with some level of exploration sounds exciting, so when you embark on a new painting, the not knowing what's head is exciting.

Brilliant!! Loved the way this turned out!! So much texture and visual movement and interest. Love the sky color and the trees. Well done!! The way you fixed the bottom was great I felt relieved when you painted over the cursive n. ( your blue shadow) it was distracting to me. Around the 1:04.48 mark

Hi Turner ... This was a great video with insight on your thinking/decision making process ... There is a balance between not knowing what to do and letting your inner soul lead you this is what makes paintings alive and unique ... I greatly admire this in you and grateful that you take time to film ... I don't care if you paint with your toes ... If the result is a beautiful stunning painting that's all that matters!

I also like the glove. Very free and loose. Great idea for water rapids. Also love the conversation . Very helpful. Keep doing what you do.

Wow, this kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through! And thanks for your narration, I learned a lot from that. I can feel that, even though your way of painting brings you much joy, every painting you do must take a lot out of you.

The book mentioned ""The Creative Act" by Rick Rubin is a great book. I am only 40%, thanks for mentioning it. You're a second important artist in my career that has recommended it.

You are an inspiration to me. Love your work so much. I use latex surgical gloves just to protect my hands and for easy cleanup. Some oil paints have toxic substances in them. You might give them a try during warmer weather. You can buy large quantities fairly cheaply.

Lol you should have brought the sled, you know the ground hog lied this year. Great painting as always. And Iris Scott paints finger painting with a glove and her work is amazing ❤

I love your finger painting technique ..the expressive stroke that you get is so much stronger than with a brush! I too have used plastic gloves when painting outdoors in the snow.. My hands were freezing, so what I did is put gloves on first and then the plastic gloves over my wool gloves .. Sounds cumbersome , but it worked !❤👍

I for one love your finger painting. Of course those latex gloves will cause perspiration, and you know what they say about sweating in the freezing cold. Thank you.

As you said, don't worry about negative glove comments, do what you feel works best for you. Your paintings are beautiful, they seem to sell, and that in itself proves beyond a doubt that the glove works. Case closed...!

I think the glove has become a distraction and now frankly a bit of a gimmick. I think some spontaneous finger painting is fine, and good to be wearing a glove for those moments, but I liked your use of the real big brushes and spatulas would work well too. Always good to see you paint and good hearing your thinking as you paint. Cheers and thanks for posting.

At the 41 minute mark ... I totally see a snowy road that's about two or three feet lower than the snow surface in the middle ground. And it enters the picture at the bottom center and veers out to the left, so there's just a small part of it visible. You're mainly seeing the bank, whether it's ploughed snow or snow-covered brush...

You need to stop before you agonize too much over detail. The earlier painting was much more forceful and direct and emotional.
