Gorgeous! The eye knows exactly where to look. There are areas of detail and areas of rest. Thank you for showing and teaching your process!

Прекрасный этюд! Тот кто знаком с живописью на практике, знает, что процесс создания такого произведения, приносит радости и удовольствия не меньше, чем результат! ❤❤❤ Желаю мастеру долгой жизни и творческих успехов!👍✌❤

I am so glad I found this video! I've been really curious about your process for oil painting. I've been a freelance digital artist for years but just moved into oil painting in the last month and wow, it's tough! This video was so helpful for understanding the step by step process. Do you have any other tutorials for traditional oil painting? If so I would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks for sharing your talent, so incredibly impressive!

This is a very satisfying video tutorial. You explain your thought process, the 'why' and demonstrate the 'how' without unnecessary detail or distraction. (The music choice is almost meditative - in the possible way for learning. Any chance of saying who the artist is?) Thank you very much for this hidden gem. I'd love to see more like this if you continue.

Please give some intro of your colour palette which colours are necessary for plein air artist.
@daviddibble82263 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply, I rarely check this. If you're just starting out, try limiting it down to three primaries plus white: ultramarine blue, cad yellow light, and cad red and titanium white. It will help you learn how to mix color well. Good luck!

@@michaeltaylor981 I like your painting. Not trying to disrespect you in any way. You're a far better painter than I am and I learned a lot from watching. I just like the looseness of the first layer is all. Making a comment. I'm a fan of that sort of painting. I apologize for my comment seeming critical of you or disrespectful in any way. And you're right I'm sure no one cares what I prefer.

Among all of the high praise we see here, I have to add some ...suggestions. I find the music annoying and distracting, It certainly isn't necessary. We can live with silence. I watched as you did your simplified value compositions. It would have had more use to me if I knew what image you were looking at as you drew. Nor do we see the finished sketch for your composition.

You’re painting without telling anyone what you’re doing which makes it useless for instruction
