Plenary round-up - Tue.09.Jan 2024

In the plenary sitting held on Tuesday 09 January 2024, Nakawa Division West MP, Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi was endorsed as the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament.
The Minister for Local Government tabled statutory instruments extending the term of office for Local Council 1 and 2 and Women Councils for another 180 days, until early July 2024.
