Plenary round-up - Wed.19.June 2024

In the plenary sitting held on Wednesday 19 June 2024, the Speaker, Anita Among condemned the manner in which Busiki County MP, Hon. Paul Akamba was re-arrested outside the Anti -Corruption court on Friday, 14 June 2024.
The Speaker condemned the Police for spraying teargas at MPs who were undertaking an oversight visit to the Lubigi wetland area.
Members of Parliament were also designated to different sectoral committees.
