thank you for great tutorial, is it possible to create shapes out of the plexus and random fill faces between each 3 points?

Creating shapes out of the plexus is definitely possible. You can create the shape and then convert that into a volume before distributing points in the volume or on the surfaces, so get the plexus in that shape. Creating random fill faces might be a bit harder, but I have been thinking about how to do that for a while now. If I do come up with a solution for it, I will definitely create a video for the same :)

Thanks for the excellent tutorial(s). One alternative to using delete geometry at 23.34 is to use the "separate components" node. You can then work to convert curves to mesh and the point cloud to instance on points separately and then join again. Thanks again.

Oh... Thank you so much! That would actually be pretty useful. I hadn't come across that node before, but I'll definitely be incorporating it into my workflow in future videos. Thanks once again for the tip :)

I figured there was a possibility of doing nested repeat zones but hadn't gotten around to trying it yet, well done and hope you enjoyed Japan

Yup! Nested repeat zones was the first thing that I wanted to try when I heard repeat zones were coming to blender. I'm glad I finall got the chance to do it.

And thanks! I enjoyed Japan quite a bit. It was a great experience and I'll be looking forward to doing it again!

Nodes are awesome. This looks way harder than programming for me :)
@deayanstudios11 ай бұрын
Yes, it definitely takes some time to get used to it. But it's genuinely just as logical as programming, while being as versatile as programming. It's definitely worth getting used to.

Thank you. I spent half of yesterday trying to do something similar and not getting results. I'm trying to create a stochastic lattice structure that can be 3d printed. Next step is limiting node connections and creating clean geometry.

Thank you so much! The best part about KZbin is that the videos will remain there, so you can always wait and watch them once you get yourself some free time. Good luck!

And it's called very simple?
@deayanstudios11 ай бұрын
I personally feel like this is more intuitive and hence simpler compared to previous methods that we've explored to create the same effect. If there's any region where you're having troubles, let me know and I'll try my best to clarify it for you :)
