But the scene in avengers “im always angry” hulk just shows this very cool moment, its like showing this reserved guy turn into this badass monster. Thats all, even that hulk is not this unstoppable savage beast we knew, he was clearly getting ordered around, stopping the beating when his enemies are still alive, just incapacitated, and it doesnt show any signs of this rage, this “fuck everything, ill real you all into pieces” vibes. Thats why this hulk transformation is the right choice cause it really makes you feel the uncontrollable anger growing and seeing bruce trying his best to maintain it, it shows personality and shows just how horrifying hulk really is

You know, probably my favorite distinction between dc and marvel is that dc in about “gods among us” type people choosing to do good because they effect the world greatly, but marvel is a bunch of regular people cursed in some way or having responsibility thrust upon them that they then have to deal with. Venom has been interpreted as many different things over the years. A villain, an anti hero, a hero, a rewritten hero with new host, and a scorpion tailed villain. Not to mention the offspring of venom, carnage. Carnage is the biggest threat to the entirety of the marvel universe that comes in human size. Carnage could probably rip right through thanos chest and come out with no wounds. Now, I'm not saying he could beat the beyonder or galactus, but he surely can kill a human sized enemy. Plus venom has been turned into a soldier, a space traveler etc. Venom can be whatever the writer wants him to be.
