Why would you use a 57? Why?

Because the support band was doing soundcheck inside, we had to do the interview outside next to one of the busiest thoroughfares in Vienna. This meant we could not use our directional mike as it would still have picked up too much traffic noise. Had to improvise and the 57 was the only other mic we had with us on that day. GM
