Remember in season 3 when Spencer wanted to see the letters that Jason read that helped him discover they shared the same dad. Well I think the reason he wouldn't let Spencer see them is not because of the pain they would cause her but because they mention that Mr. Hastings is also Charles dad.

EXACTLY...I think that Charles is Jason's twin/Paul Varjack. In the books, Alison had the evil twin, but on the show I think Jason has the twin who tried to hurt Alison when they were younger before they moved to Rosewood so he was committed. The phone call that night wasn't necessarily about Bethany, it could have been warning Jessica that her son was out of the sanitarium in Georgia. Charles hit Alison and that is who Jessica was protecting. She wanted to take him back to the sanitarium in GA, but he convinced her that he was Jason and the real Jason was committed in his place. The reason that Charles lied about being in rehab was because he was visiting Jason in the sanitarium in GA to get info so that he could pass himself off as Jason. Everyone thinks that Alison got the memory of the vacation wrong, but what if it was "Jason". What if the real Jason told him a false story about the vacation hoping that someone would realize that it was Charles

prissygirl1908 thanks, the finale all but confirmed it. When Spencer watched Charles' home movie of Jessica with two little boys. It is obviously Jason and his twin. Jason's twin is either identical or fraternal. I think there is a possibility that Andrew is Jason's fraternal twin. The video was shot at Campbell Farm and Andrew's last name is Campbell.

The boys in 5x25 are not twins. They aren't even the same height. I don't think Jason has a twin, but they could be related or close friends.

My theory..just sort of a wild idea..When Jason mentioned the photo albums..I'm thinking the reason there aren't many is because if he has/had a twin..The parents removed all pictures that included both boys in the pictures "together" from the house..which is why there are less pictures of Jason/Charles..I think Jason has split personalities..and one of them is his twin..I think it's possible that the twin girl story where one murdered the one that Ali told the girls..was another story that Ali remembered "differently"..Maybe she was the "doll"..the twins were fighting over..and Jason killed Charles..or vice versa..maybe Jason doesn't remember his twin..and this Andrew character...someone that Jason met in a Psych ward somewhere maybe?...Not sure what his motive is..I think Jason killed Charles..and that is why he's always had drug problems..and possibly mental issues that the Liars don't know about...Bethany...could have been related to Andrew...that's one theory I suppose..I think it's more complicated than..Charles is A...When he gave Mona/Ali..the gas mask and told her that she's his favorite..I'm thinking Jason was obsessed with Ali when she was a baby..and wanted her to be his doll..or something..I don't know..just "A" nother theory...I can't wait to see where they go with this though..Love PLL...

If you look back to where he was watching the tape where Mona "died" and you watch his face, it's like he's obsessed with Alison. Like on The Call, he saw the same type of hair and got obsessed. And don't forget, when he went on the stand at Alisons trial he completely changed his opinion and his dad didn't like it. Either he has a double personality or Jason has actually been Charles this whole time. Charles killed Jason when he was younger but he can't remember. He started to finally remember his childhood and that he probably went to Radley. Mrs. D knew that a Radley patient escaped that night Ali went missing and I'm betting it was Bethany and that's why she didn't want Ali out because she knew if Jason saw Bethany then he would flip.

Very nice, I began noticing things to after the 5x25 finale in which I hope it doesn't spoil it for anyone else who hasn't watched the finale yet... SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't watched the finale yet. So, Charles is A, and we see that Charles is Jason's twin brother after Spencer wanders off in search of him. She finds a home movie of Jessica Di Laurentis and her kids. I was thinking later on about Cyrus - because (correct me if I'm wrong) but hasn't Marlene or someone said that we've seen A before? If you look at Cyrus and Jason together, they're similar. Twins doesn't necessarily mean identical, I think they're fraternal. Cyrus is about the same age as Jason, Andrew's still in school with the girls so I don't see how that's possible. But Andrew's a little sketchy. Remember when Ali was brought back to the place she stayed with Cyrus - the place she was "kept at" when she was "kidnapped"? Ali knows a lot of people and could have found out she had another brother if she didn't know that previously and stayed with him because he's family. When Ali explains to Hanna in prison of how she contacted A through the newspaper, there's that part about the book that Jessica would read to Ali. Yes, Jason AND his brother would both know this. I think Cyrus is just a fake name for Charles - like his other identity, much like Ali was Vivian Darkbloom. In the finale, Charles has a mask on and looks like he had slicked back hair which could be a wig. My boyfriend pointed out that Cyrus was in the hospital and was badly burned or whatever happened to him, the mask and wig would cover up any scar damage to his face which may be why we didn't actually see his face. But then again, it is PLL and nothing is ever completely revealed with that. And then there's the part where I think Spencer may have known for a while because of how she reacted when Charles was right next to her. It is her brother after all. Just what I think...Feel free to agree or point out any flaws - I know I could have much more detail to explain all of this.

Yeah It's not Mona or Jason, it's Melissa and Wilden. Mona was Original A and she was responsible for all the mayhem in season 1 and 2. Big A was around in season 3 and end of season 4. Mona said she lost the A game when she was in Radley. I also read opposite arguments, which say that the reason why WIlden was killed and Melissa ran off is because Big A was mad of what they tried to do to Aria, although that was the argument of people who thought Ezra was the new A. It could work as well for Jason, since he seems to like Aria. Personally I am quite intrigue with the theory that Lucas or Cece could be Charles and he/she could be transgender. Although 'Charles' is likely to be a member or someone close to Jessica for her to protect Charles over Alison's murder.

I remember one theory that mentioned the creator of the series posted a clure on twitter saying Big A is there a way to link that up to jason and charles? If so there is more evidence pointing to him 2. Also I am pretty sure it was mentioned that A was seen in the first episode and was wondering if anyone in the background even looked or resembles jason if it were his twin? Or if Jason was in the episode therefore more evidence pointing to him.

Just came into my head but... What if Jason doesn't have a twin and Ali does. For example, Mrs. D could have had an affair with Mr. H and had Jason. At the same time her sister (who we know visited Charles in Radley) could have been sleeping with someone (Scott Montgomery) and had a baby boy. For whatever reason Mrs. D may have taken in Charles and agreed to mind him until problems arose and he as sent to Radley. I think that Sarah Harvey/Bethany Young could be Ali's twin. We heard from Sarah's friends that she was very like Alison - I dunno why Mrs. D would have given her up though? Alternatively, what if Jason isn't Mr. H's son. What if Charles is Mr. H's son (and that is why the worst things happen to Spencer) and Jason is the one who is taken in by Mrs. D from her sister and that is why she doesn't include him: cause he is not her real son?? Obviously this theory has huge holes - just putting it out there. Would love to hear your theories.
