I agree the call should have been made and I’m sure the bad blood will carry over to the summer. Despite that it was the most exciting lacrosse game I’ve seen and the overtime was electric. Hope the PLL expands its sixes play as this is the form of lacrosse the average sports fan can best relate to.

As a Cannons fan I'm thrilled they won. As a lacrosse fan I was disappointed that the hit on Sowers wasn't called. A lot of youth players watch PLL events and are impressionable. They need to know that helmet-to-helmet contact is not a normal part of the game, and play like that isn't accepted at any level. Refs can't see everything, but there were some all-star officials calling this one, they should have seen that.

As a Boston sports fan, this is the reason why, when the game gets intense between Boston and Philly rivalry besides New York, we always hated each other. But for me, I despise Philly the most like Celtics vs 76ers, Revs vs. Union, Red Sox vs. Phillies, Pats vs. Eagles, Bruins vs. Flyers and now in lacrosse game, it's Cannons vs. Waterdogs. Philly needs to do themselves a favor, never mess with us because we are the City of Champions.
