The tutorials are fantastic and greatly appreciated! I'm able to also grab some insight into other areas just by watching you navigate the system. Still plenty for me to learn at this point, but your tutorials have been instrumental to my success in my transition to 3DX (PLM side of things. Already a GSD master! ;) )

It is hard to cover all the topics, and since 3DExperience is quite new, we focus on a large audience and try to do a bit of everything. We will continue posting every monday. Thanks again for such informative videos. I'd like to ask a question regarding drawing bom's. Is there a way to ommit/ exclude parts in the bom while still showing them in the design tree. A sort of phantom part. Thanks for your time. -Au revoir

Bonjour Maxime! From another of your tutorials (Exploded views) you can also apply the BOM to the exploded view that is generated from the Markup. If you want to hide a particular part(s) in the markup (Perhaps it is a large ASSY), is it possible to have the BOM report ONLY what is shown in the referenced view? Composer can do this, but I am trying to do it within Catia/drawings. Many thanks in advance! Merci!

You've recorded great videos. Firstly thanks a lot for what you've done so far. Can I ask 2 two question? :) as far as I see you defined weight as a custom string value instead of linking it to real weight of the part. what is the reason of that? is there a way to link an attribute to calculated weight of parts? Second, same question for material? Thanks in advance :)

Thank you Chenny Chen for your kind comment :) the "Collaborative Spaces Control Center" app is part of the role "Platform Manager" role. Only platform admin can access it, only on the web interface of 3DExperience. Maxime at PLM technology

Hi ChenYu Tang, it is not possible with this method at least. Maybe there is other method or just by using Macro, but unfortunately I am not familiar with them. @PLM Technology, how to run 3DExperience Cloud Edition in Administrative mode? I was in trainings in one of the 3DExp resseler in Poland and Trainer informed me, that it's not possible in this version of Catia ... Besides of that, channel looks intresting ;)

Thank you for your comment Saczi Saczi, well it is a bit different than CATIA V5. 1) On the Web Interface, you need to have the role administrator, then you can access platform management (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3Wyk62Ngd2cqtk ) 2) On the rich client, you need to select "Default" as collaborative Space and then "Adminstrator" as role. Hope this helps you!

Merci beaucoup. Le poids ou la masse d'un objet n'est-il pas un attribut automatique déjà present sur la plateforme lorsque l'on applique un matériau ? et ainsi est-il possible de lié cet attribut dans la BOM ?
