Gnuplot is very good too. It has an output option called "dumb terminal", that outputs to the terminal. I don't know a lot about it, but it looks very versatile

That's good to know. I played with GNUplot years ago. I new you could generate images with it, but never get to terminal output. I'll have to look into the "dumb terminal" option. Thanks

Gnuplot can output sixel images to terminal emulators that support them, which is pretty neat. Actually showed that off briefly, in a video. And libsixel itself can display images inside of GNU Screen, with the -P option.

I'm going to have to play around with GNUplot more. I messed with it years ago, but didn't get to far into it.
