They made a really good cutting edge on that plow my my dad has one he still has its 2001 Fisher it is v plow he loves it it's been a really reliable plow it has never been broken down and as tough as nails I love those z plaza they can really push up the snow and the best thing about it you got a good wing on the top of that thing so there was snow don't blow back in your window plastic part on the top of it it keeps all the snow from flying it to window and works out great

I like the time-lapse videography. You work efficiently. In 2020, I bought an old pickup with an old plow. Took the plow off after I bought it, and finally put the plow back on in time for the first snow of 2024. Just did my own driveway. Can't do any paying jobs until I replace my leaking lift cylinder.

Thank you! I try to be as efficient as possible. I change it up so I can see what works best for each driveway. My strategy changes depending on the type and amount of snow too. I would plow 2 " of fluff way differently that 2 feet of wet heavy snow. Get that cylinder replaced! If you're going to be in business one thing you learn is when something breaks it has to be fixed immediately unless you can cob it together. I had a bungee cord holding my plow light on for a whole season once which got me through the season just fine. People depend on me, so I have to be dependable. I buy new trucks and plows so they are more reliable. I'm not a mechanic so I don't have the means to be fixing old equipment all the time. Newer stuff is generally more reliable. My current truck and plow were both brand new last year. Before that I had a 2016 truck that I only planned on keeping for 5 years but when it came time to upgrade was during that whole covid thing when no trucks were available anywhere.

I remember how difficult it was to find a truck due to Covid in 2020; that was the year I bought my truck/plow combo, and was lucky to get a good deal on it ($3,000 for both). Truck is a 1990 and needed work, of course, but I am a capable amateur mechanic. The truck has proven reliable. I am a full time tradesman, and plowing is just a sideline, so a newer truck is not as critical for my situation. I did just get the plow lift cylinder replaced. All I need is the next snowstorm, so I can practice more and maybe start to make some money.

Why does this just seem like the most coziest fucking thing you can do I just imagine being in that cab its all nice and warm, probably drinking something warm and havin a little snack when you stop just being in the middle of a snow fall or storm while plowing just sounds so cozy to me

yo no joke plowing at night is beautiful. there's no cars on the road. it's so serene... other than me smashing snowbanks at 3am lol
