The one man behind a turn key operation! Thank God i finally got the guys to start cleaning the snow off their own trucks and machines lol If you put a 2x4 at each end of the cutting edge before you drop the plow.. it raises the plow and give you more slack on the chain to clip the harness in. Works wonders and trust me lol this will save you from a couple extra grey hair 👌👍 cheers

you like the boss spreader over the polycaster? I've never owned a boss anything
@crowleypoolservices2 жыл бұрын
Now that I have used the polycaster more I'm really starting to like that more than the boss. Ive had the boss for years like it because its small and fits in the back of the truck and we can keep the tool box in and still have plenty of room. The polycaster definitely has a lot more advantages to it, I've only had our for a season so far. Will most likely do a comparison video of both this winter.

a shout out from another northern snow state. U guys get what u deserve when it comes to rusting out vehicles, relying on salt for such a small storm. Ridiculous!
@crowleypoolservices3 жыл бұрын
When your under contract you have to do what your clients want and if that means salting that’s what has to get done. It’s not ridiculous.. we take care of our equipment, wash after every storm all our trucks and equipment are in great shape and rust free.
@rangerdanger7663 жыл бұрын
@@crowleypoolservices understandable on doing what the customers want. My comment should have been directed on your states policy to use salt. ya maybe some bridges and dangerous areas, but in Montana sand works just fine. With the price of new vehicles now salt is just unacceptable. A Montana truck vs a Minnesota truck will have a much higher resale value, and without a doubt last twice as long

Why would you plow with a 550?? Put the salter on the 550 and carry more salt , seems to make the most sense. Just an idea ?
@crowleypoolservices3 жыл бұрын
We don't own a 550, if your talking about our f350 dump truck we plow with it because we only own 3 trucks, we are a small company, we need all 3 trucks equipped with plows. We did equip that truck with a liquid de-icing setup this winter, but we mostly leave that truck ready if we need to do any snow removal or truck materials for jobs over the winter,
@YoungAmbitionYA3 жыл бұрын
What's wrong with plowing with a 550 anyway? Seems to me it would plow just as good as any other.

Might not have looked cold but it had been single digit temperatures for a few days and that day it was in the teens. Fuel had gelled up even with it being treated.
@tomlorenzen40623 жыл бұрын
@@crowleypoolservices strange, my skidsteer (250s) will start down to about zero, will treat fuel below 20. You have some nice equipment.
@rangerdanger7663 жыл бұрын
@@crowleypoolservices try mixing your own its cheaper and works. 20% #1, and power service fuel treatment. Has to be in the lines and filter before it gets cold. In Mt. as long as batteries r good and block heater is used, they should and will start and run -40 no problem.
