Plowing, shoveling and snowblowing. I'm pushing to be a solid source for snow removal entertainment on the youtube. We start this one out with our new toro powermax 252cc snowblower, on some lengthy mall sidewalks. This was some seriously wet and heavy snow. The next thing you will see is some truck plowing action with our 2012 ram 2500 heavy duty with the 5.7 liter hemi. That truck is paired with an 8 and a half foot hiniker v plow. We stack it high in this one, as we got nailed with approximately 10 inches total over the course of 3 days. Nothing like the recent Buffalo NY snow storm, but it was still relatively nasty. We use the original snowplow poly shovels and scoop shovels. Something unique is that my wife shovels dog lanes in a dog yard for one of our best customers. Anyways I hope you enjoy watching my family and I get out and move some snow. We are blessed to have such a nice business and equipment. #minnesota #snowremoval #plowing #ramtrucks #hinikerplows #hiniker #thetorocompany #toropowermax #snow #family #familyvlog #familybusiness #satisfying #winter

These plow videos are very calming. And it makes me want to invest in a truck with either a snowdogg plow or a hiniker. Not sure what I would want to go with yet. However i didn’t realize until watching this video that you have the dodge single cab and the Chevy quad cab as well. I’m pretty much seeing my self through you in the future of when I start up my own snow removal company. I love the content and I don’t feel that there is anything to change. Everything you and the family do is pretty well on point.

Thank you! Any which way is a good option. A plow truck is a great investment if you want to get out and put in the work. We still have both trucks. We purchased the ram this spring for pulling our dump trailer for spring and fall cleanup. I threw a v plow on it this fall, and it's been my truck of choice for plowing. It's just more efficient with the v plow and shorter wheel base. Your comment was enjoyable to read! Thanks for the kind words it means a lot.

My only tip so you don’t have to go threw the same problem, be carful pulling it off the ramps, it’s a lot of weight on the axle and will eventually snap or ruin the gears. Easiest way I find is firing it up in the bed, then use the drive well bringing it down the ramps, it holds traction and won’t come launching down at ya 😂 Keep killing it my friend
@bladezllc
@bladezllc Жыл бұрын
@wizdom705 I will try that here the next time I go out. I feel as though something bad will happen if I keep going about it that way. That ramp is sketchy too. I wish there was something more in the middle. Thanks for the tips I take all of them to heart. It all helps very much

push the snow towards the garage stopping bout 5 feet from the garage then get the blade past the pile and then bac drag it out and you will leave alot less snow behing meaning much happier custumers and less snow turning to ice
@bladezllc

I'll definitely do that! Thanks for the tip 👍

You need a back blade it will help you 100% in over all time instead of back dragging 2 or 3 times you'd only have to do it once specially if your doing residential I did it and was a life changer but I only do commercial now and but last year I got a HOA old fellows home and bought another one like i said just on back drag unless it's a 2 car driveway then it's 2 back drags id look into it

It's something I'd like to try. A few of my friends swear by them. Thanks for that suggestion. It would definitely help with efficiency!

If the snow does not come up when back blading make a forward scraping pass then back blade the loosened snow. Do not make a forward pass first, as the clump of snow will float the plow on the back pass.

You guys definitely got more snow than us down here in SE MN. We went out twice, the third wave fizzled out before it hit us. A lot of guys including myself run blowers on the front of sub compact tractors. They scrape down better, don't leave the huge piles, and often times can fit on the city sidewalk instead of having to shovel or use snowpups( Powerclear and the like) The crappiest part is pulling a trailer in the snow. Can't really clear parking lots efficiently either. There are a couple guys I've seen running the pull type (inverted) blowers on the back of tractors and a loader on front so they can do residential and commercial, but then travel speed is limited. Not terrible if you have a tight route. Thanks for making us content to watch while still working! My route takes around 7-8 hrs solo, can't imagine worrying about recording as well!
@bladezllc
@bladezllc Жыл бұрын
Thank you! It's a lot of work to do both, film and focus on the job. My route is very similar in length to yours, so not that crazy. What kind of subcompact tractor do you run? That seems like it would work well on the sidewalk or maybe a small frame skid steer. We get so many calls for sidewalk jobs. I've been trying to figure out the best way to do them. The sidewalk jobs pay well!

@Bladez LLC I use a Kubota BX2370 sub comapct with the 50" 2 stage blower. I have a couple friends who have the JD x739 which is 4x4 and 4 wheel steer. They are amazing for maneuvering. The other part I love about the tractor is I can use it for landscaping with the front loader, mowing if my zero turn breaks tilling etc. Very useful to have one tool that can accomplish a lot
