I'm not bothered if cyclists have earphones. It's not dangerous, and drivers hear just as little if just their windows are done up, and less if they also have the stereo on. What counts for safety is looking, looking around is the skill you need on the roads, not hearing. That is what makes you such a good rider, Fred.

I don't think the music in the ears is much of a problem either. I'm amazed that someone would risk an expensive laptop computer by holding it with one hand while riding a "kid's bike" on the sidewalk. At this point, there's two thumbs down on the video, which I find amusing.

No it actually is pretty dangerous and also illegal is the USA regardless.
