Great talk! The suggestions at the end (Openstack's stevedore and Saltstack's pop frameworks) are absolutely wonderful resources. Their documentation go over a bunch of important design decisions and considerations you need to make when implementing a plugin architecture that are very useful even if you decide to not use these frameworks in the end.
