I REALLY need to get that Yamaha unit, that sounded absolutely amazing! Also for anyone interested a really good free chorus plugin that I personally love is the Kilohearts Chorus in their essentials bundle. It does the 80's tri-chorus thing really well and it's super easy to use :)

Wow I never thought I'd find another fellow musician who would be a chorus junkie like me,i have a solid stash of chorus pedals and my CE2 works, i have a CE3 too,great video 👍 Valhalla space modulator really sounded good, check out the Digitech Multi chorus it's like all the chorus pedals you loved all in 1 pedal 😊 The ASDC GNI pedal sounded the best to my ears with the Yamaha a close second place😊

This was great. For me the SPX is gold. I did not like the dytronics and i thought I would. I love the TAL, and the Roland has a special place in my heat.. Good stuff

Thanks! That TAL plugin IS going to get used.

I’m pretty much completely dependent on software due to me not yet having the finances to spend on actual effect pedals. I love making harsh noise, so the only hardware I have are 2 USB interfaces, a sampler groovebox, 2 analog mixers, and a ton of cables.

since moving to plugin-land I've been surprised that I keep returning to the Roland Dimension D, even though it's not very tweakable - the limited presets just sound great - I tend to use the Arturia emulation, but UAD also has one, as well as Overloud Gem and probably others - anyway, would be cool to compare one of those to your top contenders if you get a chance

Pedals are so fun to own in my opinion. love the designs and such. If I had the space I would definitely get more. But it's plug ins from here on for me bc I already have enough and yea. dope video tho. def gonna subscribe

Thanks! I think I've been moving in the opposite direction lately since I started playing guitar in a band again. I've been all about plugins but getting back into pedals has been a lot of fun. Thanks for the subscription!

The same ones you reacted to the most are the same ones i liked the most. Neunaber pedal, Yamaha Symphonic, and Magic Switch. Would love to hear a distortion pedal comparion with software, that's something where plugins tend to fall flat

Thanks! I was thinking about the distortion comparisons too.

Thanks this was a fantastic comparison. Very valuable. Im a synth guy but maybe I should play some guitar…

Or, run your keyboards through guitar pedals. That's one of my favorite tricks.

@@FreakingOutWithBillyHume Yes, that is definitely something I consider. I am debating a bit if I should run them through physical pedals or if I should add them in the DAW. Nicer to screw on physical knobs but feels a bit more flexible to have them in the DAW so you can tweak things after. I also have quite many synths so if they would all need pedals I would need several. I'm currently building a studio so looking a lot at wiring. I got the Quantum MK2 which is fantastic and ordered the Moog One, have the Native Instrument 61 for sample libraries, I feel this should give a nice spread between analog and all the way to sample libraries. I was also just looking at a Kawai hybrid digital piano Novus NV5S. I have a real grand and love it to bits but I just very rarely record my music on it, if it would be midi I would do much more and then I can fix my many mistakes when improvising as well, of course I can always do the final recording on the grand piano, but I do not always think it is needed. I am a bit unsure how many inputs I need on my audio card. I consider getting the RME Fireface UCX II which has 8 inputs which is a bit low, but I guess I could always get an ADAT later like Ferrofish 16. I'm not expert though so lots of things to figure out! Still having a great time. I do have the larger UFX III but its sort of locked on my main workstation for video sound editing. I guess I could swap it with the smaller UCX if I get desperat.

Strymon Big Sky, Night Sky and Delay seems interesting, but you of course have lots and lots of other cool pedals!

Magic Switch seems unbeatable, sounds great, easy to use , free ... my ears say that when it comes to chorus, software is a good as hardware
@FreakingOutWithBillyHume Жыл бұрын
Yes! That Magic Switch is amazing! Funny, I tried it a few weeks ago and didn't take it too seriously, but in back to back comparisons it has made me a believer.

I TRIED TO TRANSLATE WITH AUTO-TRANSLATOR for some reason all bloggers translate, but your translation turns out to be gibberish, apparently you are using obscure phonetics, which is not understandable for Google's auto-translation. Pay attention to this, at least in the end it is important for us to know the conclusion, what is good and what is bad.
