I just found your channel because of this video. I am so grateful that I have. I wanted to buy a Plum Paper this year but was worried about the disk system working with their paper. Instead, I once again purchased a Happy Planner. But, I know Plum Paper is a superior planner on multiple levels. I will be closely following your videos to see how it goes. Plum Paper has been my fave for years! I’m so happy to see you using one 🎉. The pocket is always that color. Also, if you order the planner unpunched you can get the clear protector still and just punch at home 😊. Can’t wait to see how you make this your own!

Oh yay! Thanks for the tip on the cover! Do you know if you can punch the clear cover with a Happy Planner punch or do I need something more heavy duty?

@ I have an ARC punch (Staples brand) and it worked fine. I used it for one year and now I order without it. I’m amazing at how well the covers hold up, and it drove my bonkers the clear cover got so scratched up 🤪

Yay! Welcome back to the plum family. They are my favorite. FYI You can order the clear cover replacement if you really want it. I have them... it's not expensive I think I got 3 of them for 10 dollars. Just email customer service.

So excited you are choosing a discbound system! ❤ If you want a sturdy cover over your Plum, you can get a PK clear cover from her sticker system and put that on. You can still see your Plum cover through also. I got the cover without the PK logo for mine.

Yipppee, Plum Paper! I’ve already got my 2025 planner and it will be my 4th year in Plum Paper. I love how customizable it is. There’s enough room for some light decoration but it’s mostly functional all the way! Right up your alley. 😊 I use the 7 x 9 weekly horizontal (one week over two pages) and it’s the horizontal layout that sold me.

So glad you have a planner that's exactly what you need. I found Agendio this year and have the same basic layout. I never thought I would leave EC after a decade, but I've found I love the smoother paper and the endless customization. If I wasn't in Agendio, I would be in Plum Paper. It's definitely more economical. I do have a few of their notebooks and love them.

I absolutely love Plum Paper! For my personal planner, I still go with Erin Condren (I’ve been with them since 2013) because of the paper. But we buy my husband’s teacher planner, and my oldest son’s elementary school planner from them. They are an amazing company... I just need that EC tooth!

@@KristanKremer I’ve done that before! I wish EC would offer disc-bound - it is so east to customize on our end, and it wouldn’t be a big deal for EC to offer!

So happy to find another affiliate with PP! When I first discovered PP there paper was very glossy. Then shortly after that they came out with the one they currently do. From another affiliate they said that PP paper is Mohawk (80lb I think) paper but it's a blend specifically made for PP. I don't know if EC still uses Mohawk paper but I remember at one point they did. There is a "sampler" PP calls in a guide book and I think it's under the planner section.

I found the sampler, added it to my cart, and then took it out when I ordered again bc I figured I wouldn't need to try other layouts. But now I regret that bc I could use it to help answer questions! I'll grab it with the next order 🤦‍♀️

Oh no! They do have some great notebooks you can get disc punched, and you can even include add-ons (I just ordered one with a fitness add-on). Maybe sometime this year you will need another notebook and you can dip your toe in 😊

I have almost the same exact planner as you. I too ordered the neutral with the weekly layout. Currently I draw out that layout on one side and on the other I divide it into sections and write my to do lists for home, work, and CWM goals. So I picked the layout with the box on top which I had them label goals and then two columns of checklists, one labeled home and the other work. I can always white out the labels or use another sticker if I don’t need that particular section that week like if I’m on PTO for that week. This is going to save me so much time setting up and I can get straight to planning and decorating. I’ve eyed a couple of the planner Kate monthly kits and want to try one and see how that looks on the monthly calendar.

Love Plum Paper! I was going back and forth between using them and EC for a couple of years. I think Amanda said on her most recent video that Plum Paper was reworking their sampler layout book. It might not be available right now.

Kristan, are you trying to wreck my 2025 planner plans!?!😂 The first “nice” planner I ever bought was from Plum Paper! I still like their paper better than EC paper. 1. I knew PP had a disc option, but I forgot about it. 2. I had NO idea that you could choose to get lines on the monthly! 😮 That is game changer. 3. This layout is so good! I’ve got some thinking to do! 😅😂

I enjoyed watching your video. I've been using plum paper myself for several years now in the vertical layout. But, after seeing this layout, I may switch to this for next year. I can already see ways I'd customize the sections on the left page. (right page for my appts and the left page for everything else).

I can’t wait to see what you do with this planner next year. I too in a Plum Paper next year. EC just didn’t offer the design (neutral) in the size and layout I wanted. If this works well for you, I may try discs in 2026. I’m currently still in a coiled planner

I’m a big fan of disc planners.. you might want to try the inkwell press planner discs. They have rose gold, true gold, black and silver and they are metal. I’ve used the same discs for 5+ years and there no wear on them plus the pages turn much smoother. They are 1” discs.

Paused the video real quick to check my pocket. I don’t remember the name of my cover but it’s a very pretty blue/gray color and the pocket in mine is that same mint green.

I LOVE this Plum Paper layout, but I just wish the weekly page was verticle instead of horizontal. If it was, it could be my ultimate planner and I could finally have planner peace.

I'm trying to visualize this. Do you mean turning the page to the side and the lines go across the long edge (maybe you could DIY this by turning off the lines I think!). Or do you mean scrunching all 7 days in on one page along the short edge? Those columns would be just under an inch wide, but doable!

@@KristanKremer I basically mean three vertical half page boxes, so one for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday over three vertaical boxes on the bottom for Thursday, Friday and then the weekend split in the third box. Erin Condren used to have a weekly notepad like this. I just have too many meetings in one day for a horizontal layout and my mind works in a vertical layout.
