Two things are and were needed there. Firstly, Don explaining the core values of the club and what anything means as that seemed to have been massively diluted over the past couple weeks/months. Secondly, stop with the negative team talks. It only breeds negativity. They’re grown men, tell them to fix up but they’re also human they’ll make mistakes and I’m they all prefer positivity as it’s proven to breed success. In the mist of wanting to be the biggest and best Sunday league team - which is understandable - some players no matter their talent just aren’t right for the core values of the club. Ex Pros and Semi Pro players can’t be what your club is built on, get a group of lads that want to be there and give 110% every week and you’ll go just as far.
