This was indeed a Blessing. Many years ago I did Walking Meditation in the Temple and taught Walking Meditation. I did not particularly enjoy it. Today Br. Pham Huu introduced me to the real meaning of Walking Meditation. I AM GRATEFUL. I AM BLESSED. Thank you Br Phap Huu. 🙏

I don’t mean this in an disrespectful way at all as I met Phap huu last year and he is fantastic but I remember when I first listened to Thay and Phap hung I remember thinking why do they pause so much and I began to understand that as part of their teaching. Phap Huu speaks continuously and maybe it’s becoz he is still young. He is incredibly wise but I would like to see how with time he speaks slower to allow his teaching time to sink in. I don’t mean this is any negative way it’s just an observation from how some of the other monks teach. Thanks for sharing your insight 🙏🏾

@11:15 was with him until animal false equivalence of an animal's behaviour after physical injuries with a human's emotional/mental wounds. Humans ALSO rest after physical injuries. He could talk about a whale grieving behaviour after a loss of it's family or mate. Or a dog's depression after abuse or loss of owner. Of course we need to heal mental wounds before engaging in anything whole heartedly - but a better analogy is needed.

I have learned alot from Plum Village and with the help of therapy. But good lord, there is nothing worse than being stuck behind a subaru outback driven by a crazy cat lady doing 10 under the speed limit. I am so patient with just about anything else but oh man.....

I really needed this right now. In these trying times I have forgotten self and allowed ego and the words of others to take control. It's now time to continue my practice. From square one. Thank you and may you all find peace and be free. 🙏

Thank you Thay and thank you plum village for I need to slow down as I have become angry and it is at myself. So I will stop this loneliness and going out looking for me! I will slow down now and thank you for this wonderful dharma talk. I will now reconnect to self as I have been lost. I will practice self care with love with radical acceptance instead of guilt, worry, anger, and so much suffering. Time to start a new seed of happiness and take me home ……

I understand that the present moment is not a particular point of time between the past and the future. It is non-local and non-temporal, anywhere and anytime, namely the ultimate, or nirvana. Isn't that Thay's teaching?

I have a question about true love and mindfulness. If the body is not present but the mind is present to your loved one is that still true love or must one be preset? For example does your body have to be in the same country or state?
