Plunder I think the next step for your channel should be fireteam builds specially for the slower times in the season. So many exotics that buff teammates as well like verity's brow, phoenix cradle, omnioculous, gyrfalcons etc.. This could really take gameplay and your channel to the next level!

Yep this right here. Stasis teams are a prime example. Behemoth pumps out shards to activate surges for all fireteam members chains proc all the time, throw in renewal hunter and osmiancy warlock both with rime chains conduction and shards and feed off the behemoth crystals. The shadebinder turret gives offense while the hunter gives defense with duskfields on your team. Then the behemoth gives chains rime and armor charge and the option for teammates to steal his crystals for shards

Love your biulds because they are fantastic and you give details on how to play it. BUT also because you also share a biuld that has shades and a great look. Many other dim links don't have this. It's the extra that makes for a tight drip that takes it to the next level

This build has a learning curve. Even if you already Titan. You need to be an agro strand Titan to hit the ground running with this build. Not only that, know how to play your life really well. I attempted this build Wednesday with a small bit of success but I was being hesitant due to the difficulty level of the grand master and the modifiers. Got few clears, but didn’t really leverage the build. Yesterday I went Titan balls deep and demolished the enemies like nothing. I thought I may have not cued up a GM. That’s how easy that first room was. If you’re not going to be agro, use a suspend build. Works really well. A couple of tips for success. You need to be aggressive to make use of this build. Period. There is no point in using the synths otherwise. Also, you need to be aware of what’s going on around you and make decisions fast. A good crutch for that is making space after diving in with the grapple. You are also not a God. More of a demigod or Kratos. You will get shit on if you over extend. Great build!!!

Great point! The first few times I tried this build, I was playing cautiously and wasn't really impressed. I took it into the Devil's Lair today (on Hero, not quite ready for Legend yet) and went full tilt crayon-muncher and had a blast! You definitely have to be very aggressive with this build to get the best out of it.

For people who are struggling to hit the shotgun before the grapple melee, my tip is to grapple above the target. Not a huge amount, but enough so when you release, you have time to aim, shoot, and punch. You'll kind of be floating in a way. Since you're still in the air, out of a grapple, the game will still qualify the condition for grapple melee. The most recent change with prioritizing grapple melee also helps immensely here. If you grapple on the same level as the target, you have very little time to do it. You may still have difficulty hitting thinner targets like wizards or similar, in which case, regular grapple melee would probably be more efficient. It is doable, but you may want to start from farther away, still using elevation, so you have ample time to line up your shot. It's definitely worth learning and doing. It was already powerful, but now it's bananas.

I tried a similar build yesterday after my first GM run - picked up Severance Enclosure and subbed it in instead of Synthoceps- interesting synergy- every melee caused and even larger explosion killing even more ads. Not saying it’s any better just an interesting alternative.

So people are aware on the potential damage of this build. It was used to solo It Yût. Using a grapple point from the navigator catalyst, and swapping to tractor and a one two punch shotgun. It did more than half her health in one phase.

I made an extremely similar build although I use Transmutation and Binding with Fury and Warding. Transmutation let’s me keep creating tangles which is a nice future proof for the build, and Binding is for the resilience so i can spend the stat points on my armor elsewhere, but having the suspend comes up. Initially I went with Shackle Nades to give me a little more versatility and I still may continue down that route, but I’ve been seeing a lot of love for grapple so I’m gonna give it a shot. This build is really strong for sure.

@@max73916 well I made my build before Plunder did his in all likelihood, since I did mine at the start of the season. But also, the way I did it is futureproof, and also gives me more weapon flexibility since the artifact mod funnels me into strand weapons only, and my way has incidental synergy.

@@max73916 I prefer the flexibility my way provides. Not to mention for this build there are only two fragments that are required to make the build work, and I have them both slotted in already. If I wanted to use Forbearance I can and I’ll be able to create a tangle while I have woven mail. Or commemoration. With the seasonal mod, they need to be strand weapons. Ultimately it’s also preference to go with it.

If you do use tractor and 1/2 punch with this build, if you set it up correctly, your 3 melees can cut through barriers champs before they pop barriers. I’d use melee kickstart instead.

I've been trying out a very similar build with Rufus Fury, Tesselation and either Circular Logic or a Laser Pointer depending on if I need Overload. Having a blast with it. I'm going to try out this exact set up bc any melee build that can solo a GM is nuts lol

They will definitely nerf this and rightly so. The entire point of buildcrafting is to sacrifice some things in prioritizing other things to form strong synergies and useful builds in specific areas. One build thst does everything destroys the entire point of the game. At that point why have other subclasses? You will basically be throwing if you don't run this one build forevermore. For a build to be strong and balanced it needs to focus on one or at most two things. For instance, gyrflacons hunter is strong but balanced because it provides good survival with decent ad clear, but provides no support amd is not very strong for dps by itself. This build does EVERYTHING, it makes you invincible, it deals insane damage, has no cooldowns or limits, supports your team, gives insane ad clear.....this is the most broken thing ever by a wide margin. Now this being said, I agree that it doesnt need to be nerfrd into the ground, but bungie needs to make it either support or melee damage boost it can't be both. Being either one would balance it nicely, amd hopefully that's what they do.

How does this compare to a Stronghold Sword build to get the resto x2 buff on top of Banner? Less melee damage, but I’d imagine more survivability with sword guard and more healing. Thanks for any feedback in advance!

Your play style becomes a bit passive and tanky ......you dont feel like killing machine but yes an absolute tank indeed ......in heist gms stronghold shine due to abundance of sword ammo .....i use synthos till master content but in gm always strong hold with shackle as an emergency button ✅.......

I could see them making it so that it only heals allies. Really it's the self healing (with 100% uptime with nothing tethering you in place like a healing rift or Bastion aspect baricade) while ALSO having access to woven mail. If you only had one of those things; High damage reduction but limited/no healing, it wouldn't be nearly as immortal or OP.
