Sick set, I think. I get people's instinct is to go 'Armada almost lost - he's not playing that well' but that's underestimating how good Plup has been lately. At this point I'd expect him to go game 5 with everyone, other than maybe Hbox but thats down to the character matchup rather than his skill.

It's not just that though, +BraveStar. If you recover onstage as Marth, Sheik, Falcon, you get a free rest. An entire stock. And it's not hard at all. Fox beats Puff, but it's to a point where it's fairly close, and is incredibly taxing.

idk about that game 5, that underperforming shit happens to Plup all the time but he was destroying Armada in game 4 and 2. I love Armada but he seems pretty shaky against Plup.

idk man, I feel like with fox or even as sheik (even though it's a bad stage for her) he would have had a better chance. Did you see ugx? Plup kind of handled leffen on fd in fox dittos 2/3 games for a 3-0 victory.

Thomas Caddell i wouldn't call it idiotic. Plup had 3 choices to go with when armada counterpicked fd: sheik, fox or samus If he went sheik, armada would go fox which is a bad mu for sheik on fd If he went fox, he would have to deal with armada's peach which destroys foxes on fd And if he went samus, he'd either had to deal with armada's fox or peach, samus has a better mu against fox then sheik does on fd and has a decent mu against peach So hence the samus pick (Although i think going sheik might have been a better choice)
