Procedure:- Given solution NaOH(sodium hydroxide) is made upto 100ml in a standard flask. 20ml of the NaOH solution is pipetted out into a clean conical flask. Oneor two drops of phenolphthalein indicator is added. It i titrated against the standard HCl taken in burette. At the end point the pink colour is discharged. The titration is repeted till concordant values are obtained.

Base ചെറിയ കുപ്പിയിൽ തരുന്നതാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ മുകളിലെ ചോദ്യത്തിൽ" Estimate the mass of Sodium hydroxide " എന്നാണ് ചോദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതിനർത്ഥം NaOH ആണ് തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന base. ഏതൊരു ചോദ്യത്തിനും എന്താണോ estimate ചെയ്യാൻ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത് അതാണ് base.ഈ base ആണ് pipette ഉപയോഗിച്ച conical flaskilek ഒഴിക്കുന്നത് . You are provided with standard solution of Hydrochloric acid containing 3.6gm/litre. ഇവിടെ Hydrochloric acid ആണ് buretteil എടുക്കണ്ടതെന്നും മനസിലായി. ആ HCl inte weight /litre ആണ് 3.6gm/litre 👍🏼.
