Angel, I got an idea for now on instead of going for the big ones first you should shoot the thin ones because if you miss one of the thin ones, a good chance, you might hit one of the big ones or one of the other ones you should try to go for the thin ones first cause when you miss you have a good chance of hitting a different one.

Why are you giving him advice on something he's so good at? You're not really understanding the game. Each one has a particular spot to hit for it to go down. You can't just hit any part of it. For that reason you're very unlikely to hit a big one when aiming for a small one next to it UNLESS you're a terrible shot in general, in which case this wouldn't be a good game to be playing. Angel's chances wouldn't improve by playing that way. His chances stay the same no matter which ones he goes for first.

I would imagine that doing the larger target last are more difficult to move dew to the fact there’s a bigger contact area with the prize plate than the smaller ones

seems like going for the big ones first is the wrong strat. the amount of force on the top of each plate depends on the size of the plate. so if you are left with a small one at the end, there is a lot of force pressing on the top of it, which makes it harder to knock down even when you do hit it. whereas the big one spreads the force out more evenly. honestly, it depends on the force exerted by the cork, but in general, even if they both take two hits at that point, two hits is much easier to land on the big ones. little ones you would want to get down with one hit at the start when the force is spread across all the plates, if possible.

@@Lindseyisloony actually it is, depending on the weight of the prize and coefficient of friction of the surfaces that touch, surface area of those surfaces, and then you get into fun maths with the force applied by the cork hitting at various angles at various points, but in general for this case i would think my statement holds true. did you have a coherent argument or?

The higher up on the bar that you can hit, the better the odds it will fall over. Sometimes you can hit it midway down and it will still fall over!
