The bamboo forest is so beautiful! On vacation you're meant to relax, so walking through that forest is pure relaxation. The fox you got is in reference to the Fushimi Inari Shrine which is the head shrine of Inari! The shrine sits at the base of a majestic mountain (also named Inari) that is 233 meters above sea level. There are many fox shrines around Japan. In the Shinto faith, the god Inari is said to be connected with rice, tea, sake, and agriculture, but merchants also worship Inari as the patron of business. According to legends, the gods will often choose animals to act as their avatars or messengers. In the case of Inari, this animal is depicted as a white fox. Each of the shrine's roughly 10,000 torii was donated by a Japanese business, and approximately 800 of these are set up in rows that give the impression of entering a tunnel, hence why it's so popular! White foxes are believed to serve as guardians against evil spirits. So the stone fox statues wear red bibs because red is the color of the gods and is said to ward off bad energy.

I love the bamboo forest and it was definitely quiet in there and I didn’t see no monkey lol the glass fruit on a sticky is a must try if I ever get to Japan and you two sure do get your exercise in every day and did the pop mart machine have any of the conjuring figures in it those figures are quality figures can’t wait till the next much ❤ guys

Lotus is a water flower and the roots are used in cooking as seen with the gacha. Japanese people are not fan of sweetness especially in Kyoto. I use to live on the same street as the golden temple Kinkakuji
