One area that correlates with Aquarius is almost never spoken about. That one area changed my life. The natural zodiac’s Aquarian house when the ASC starts with Aries is the 11th. Once I heard an astrologer say that just as the 5th house rules children, the 11th rules other people’s children. This includes students in the care of teachers, hospitals, foster care, anywhere that children are in groups and all the children not born of your body. Like those given up for adoption. I heard this as Saturn, timing, was transiting late in my 10th. I calculated when it was to transit my 11th. Accordingly, I initiated the adoption process and brought my daughter home from China, Saturn in my 11th. The time was right, all obstacles were temporary. Years before upon studying my chart’s Saturn conjunct Pluto in my 5th, I realized I would bear no children in this lifetime. Had I tried, the risk to my life or the child’s would have been enormous. So I accepted that reality but did not give up my desire to raise a child. I chose one of the poorest children on earth who when she was learning English said in a tone of shocked disbelief “My clothes? not People’s clothes? My clothes?” It hit me that in China she had been told that the very clothes on her back were not hers. They belonged to The People’s Republic of China, for so they call themselves. Similarity, when she slept in the slipper-like shoes she came in, I understood it was because if you didn’t keep your shoes on in the orphanage, they wouldn’t be on the floor when you woke up. When, quite quickly, she outgrew those shoes, she cried and cried until I consoled her with pretty new shoes. Had I not studied astrology, I would not have known my chart showed the possibility of adoption in this lifetime and precisely when to go for it. She’s a lovely young woman today, devoting her life to managing the food bank services of a large non-profit. My prediction for the Pluto in Aquarius era is we will all take care of the world’s children, of “other people’s children,” in ways that are now barely imagined or hardly begun. Let’s make it happen. The 4th house is usually your family and very private matters, it's also opposite your 10th house and MC, so what affects you at home, also affects your work and reputation. It's power struggles at home and as a libra rising, we all know we love to be people pleasers, so standing up for yourself to family is extremely difficult because you have to work through childhood patterns...it can also just be unstable home situation etc...

Pluto transit my 2nd house was devestating the entire time. Maybe because Capricorn was there and i was not very self aware. I increased self awareness and confidence at the end. But i did a shit ton of self work and didnt rralize why i was doing it until i learned about this transit. Maybe if someone is alread on a self journey this will be easier. Veerle, as Capricorn asc with Pluto going through 1st house, it was something else! There are just no other words to describe that transit other than to say it was something else!! I think after the effects of Saturn we can handle it. I think that Saturn has forced us to “grow up” and take more responsibility for ourselves (and others). Good points Verlee mentioned: Follow your instincts. Whenever I did not follow my instincts, things went wrong… Pluto is forcing us to “be real”, deep and considerate of our actions because otherwise Plutonian things will happen… I’m terms of career, we are not going to settle for something that we can’t identify with. We are Aquarians so we need to do something that fulfills us and actually helps the collective. Most importantly, I think we need to relax and accept that we can’t control everything. It’s about believing that life/ the universe is here to show us something, and it’s better to not force anything too much (especially relationships) I feel like I am going to completely change my identity and not look back at the girl who was scared to be her own person.
