I have pluto in the first house and conjunct my scorpio ascendant. Pluto is also very strong in my natal chart. I could relate to a lot of this. When people first lay eyes on me, they definitely would assume I am the intimidating sort or intense or guarded in some way. I've even had people I know tell me that they feel safe in my company because I look like someone people wouldn't mess with (I work out a lot, but I think it has more to do with my aural energy). I'm a Cancer sun (in the 8th house), pisces moon and venus/mars/jupiter (stellium) in leo though, so I'm a lot less cold than how I appear on the surface. This stellium is on the midheaven, so it's all at odds with my pluto rising. (venus/mars/jupiter in leo square my pluto in the first). So it's as if I want to stand out publicly and be in the limelight (especially with it all being in showy leo), yet my pluto wants to remain private and in the background, so it's a weird dynamic in my natal chart. Definitely very selective with my friends. Quality over quantity. Yes, VERY controlling if a person is affecting the goals I've set for myself which I'm very passionate about. Though I try to be considerate of other's needs (justified by my cancer sun pisces moon I suppose). Very obsessive and passionate about the goals I've set for myself. Many over the top transformations to achieve the desired "self." I find that people I seem to draw in frequently (friends and those who have interest in me) tend to often have the natal placement, venus in scorpio. I don't know if it's like this with other people with Pluto in the first house, but It's a pattern I've noticed VERY frequently. It makes sense considering what Venus means in one's natal chart. Most of the relationships I've been in were venus in scorpio or other scorpio risings. Whoa, I didn't mean to write and essay lol, but this is one of the most intriguing placements in my natal chart (if not, the most). But great vid! I've been looking all over the web and youtube for information on this placement and you seemed to do it justice. Thanks.

hey,Intensified Yea...draw in Scorpio Venus's, but tend not to keep. Because even with "all" this... Your still "left" for real Scorpio's. I keep and collect Mars Scorpio's, Sun, Venus Scorpios and Pluto 7th housers, not just draw. The Cancer Sun is what they find. Nice comment though, it wasnt too long for me. It seems the Sun Sign can really water it down or intensify it.

Starlight Oracle-- any words from you I would appreciate My son is Pluto in Scorpio in the 1st with the ascendant.Cancer Sun..and Pisces Moon . As a man, the watery emotionality is not as well respected as if he were female but combined with those 1st house placement even more difficult.. He has desires for military leadership and I'm extremely psyche..and have always had a fear he would die young ( I know..sick..) but I am getting increasingly torn up as I see him determined to forge his own path, his deep sense of integrity and honor, williness to be self determined..face head on obstacles and transform what ever it takes to prevail.. Sorry K Mac I have for some reason only just seen your comment. As a parent of a son myself I totally empathize. At the end of the day you can only love, support and advise/guide your child as best you can and yet once they are past a certain age they have the inner sense of their own destiny pulling them, there is no way you can control that force. You have to allow what is to be, you cannot control the forces of life and death. I know your pain I understand but to think you have control over this is what causes more pain, you have to accept that there is a higher plan in all things that are not controllable.

Have been studying Astrology for past 50 yrs (started at 6 yrs old) many teachers, books, software. You are very Good. I would say the best on YT so far in my opinion. I'm finding your videos very informative and a little spooky. Your explanations of Pluto through the houses seem to be very accurate, for me at least. For awhile now I have been delving into astrology looking into the meaning of my own chart and the charts of my children and husband. I have 2 living daughters and one son, my oldest child. When he was 10 years old, he lost his closest sibling, my oldest daughter. She died a very tragic death. She was kidnapped and killed by a neighbor. She had a Libra ascendant. As you can imagine, it was very devastating for my family. Many years have passed since then. I mention it because my son has a Taurus sun with Pluto in the third house in Libra. (death of his closest sibling at a young age]. I myself have Pluto in the 10th, sun in Cancer in the 8th, and a Scorpio ascendant at approximately the 16th degree. She is extremely controlling. She dumped her father who has Alzheimer's in a hospital and told me he doesn't exist anymore... And she posted awhile back that he son said 'He's actually already dead.' This is what she's teaching him! She cut me off Facebook and told everyone I know not to talk to me. She wants nothing negative in her life and all she cares about is traveling the world- Not for the experience, but only to brag about it!... When she was an infant, an astrologer told me she would 'swallow' me whole. He was right. I forgive people, but she marks worthiness by whether people can do something for her- monetarily, or status wise. I'm poor and if I have enough to pay the bills, I'm content.... But I'm 69 years old. I doubt that I'll ever see my grandson.... Is it my Saturn conjunct mars and Pluto in Leo in the 2nd house, or my Neptune in the fourth? I seem to have very heavy karma! Neptune in the 4th is very difficult, it dissolves family connections, this is clearly a karmic situation based on past life scenarios. I personally have Saturn conjunct Mars too, I find it does bring difficult situations but more so to do with males and makes you have to work very hard in life.

I dont get the intimidation thing from people. Recently I was looking at my natal chart and found out I have Pluto Septile Nessus and I am very curious of what it could mean because it’s hard to find anything on it online,but I do know Pluto is about life,death,rebirth/power /being ruthless. Septile is I think a higher calling,talent ,gift into dark energy/ practices and Nessus is an abuser/trickster/poison. I’m not sure if it’s about working to transform people like Nessus or if it’s working with dark spirits, or if I’m just plain evil lol So I was wondering if you have an idea what it could mean?

I have Pluto in the 3rd. Pluto split my siblings in half. I have ALL half siblings, all of it, SO extreme, my Moon is Scorpio (family extremes) so, that makes this placement more intense. I have "secret" siblings by my never seen father. I was sexually abused by locals as a child. I don't trust neighbors. My neighborhood seems scary, but is inspiring to everyone else. I ride my bike everywhere, because of fear of violent injurious mass transportation. Blogs/forums are a obsession. There have been more than a mild amount of corrupt local institution's. Falling victim to Plutonically abusive local institution's. This paired with Mercury Trine Pluto, makes for information so scary, to come across so early. But like nothing can scare me now. You can send me to any court room or firing squad and I would be ok. Well this is the end? So what. This is a magistrate? O! i am shaking in my boots! What has thee not already done?

Pluto/Scorp is in my 2nd and 3rd house. I have no signs.planets in my 1st house so I am kinda not sure if an empty house is bad or not? I can relate to a few things however with Pluto in the first house, I tend to be reserved at first and I will say I do have trouble trusting right away since I've been hurt a lot, so I don't know if my reserve-ness is more due to experiences or astrology placement :P I can be possessive of my things a bit lol. I do agree with the 3rd house especially! I do have depression and over think a lot and what not.

Do you have Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo or Scorpio placements in your chart, like Sun, Moon, Mercury or Venus? Being reserved can relate to certain signs. Empty houses are not bad by any means btw. Being possessive relates more to Taurus and Scorpio energy as does trouble trusting people.

Yes over analysis paralysis. It can happen with strong Virgo energy and Pluto can constipate energy. That said I always believe that when we are meant to take action we will though we can sometimes be blocked by the past. Hard to know more without knowing other aspects involved in your chart. Pluto in Virgo can also make us mentally obsessive but can give gifts with research and insight as well as focus with learning.

Same thing with a couple of other planets falling within 1 or 2 degrees before the beginning of the following house. Should I use both the 2nd and 3rd house interpretations? Doing my chart rectification, I am wondering about the similarities and differences between Scorpio rising with Mars and the sun in Aries in the 6th and Virgo rising with Pluto conjunct the ascendant with the sun in Aries in the 8th and Mercury in Pisces in the 7th? Without question, Scorpio rising is the most accurately descriptive and relatable rising sign, but I found Virgo rising with the added elements compelling. All this taking into consideration with transits and progressions with past events. It is definitely challenging to sort out all the possibilities. Thank you in advance for any insights.

How I differentiate between how you would experience/express Virgo versus Scorpio. Scorpio observes for strategic reasons; whether that be to defend, protect, fight or preserve something, Virgo on the other hand observes, judges and weighs the variances to see what situation etc is best used for practical reasons. Thank you. You could have some obsessive and compulsive issues around your body and functioning of the body as well as health and physical routine. Be careful of people who are abusive towards or try to control you. You can also be very physically self controlled or rigid in some aspect of your physical body. Self esteem will be an area that needs a lot of work but to know more would need to know your whole chart.

Those aspects 'can' help but the trine can sometimes make a person complacent about things and a tendency to think things should come to you, that said Aries Moon and Mars in Leo like to go after what they want and are ambitious energies, again you have to factor aspects to your mars and moon from other planets. If the Pluto and Jupiter are conjunct this could do several things, it could bring extremes (highs and lows) in your spending as well as your experience with money. You could actually come into significant money, but honestly this is just speculation based on the minimal info you have given me. Always factor in your whole chart, look to hard aspects from Neptune or Saturn to where you need to be cautious with money.

There will be some similarities but then what you need to analyze is what sign the person has on the Ascendant/Rising and does it conjunct the Pluto in the 1st house. Say it's Leo then there will be a struggle to rise to prominence and authentic self expression. Say it's Virgo Rising, then the person will have a different focus a need to purge and purify the self of old heavy dark energies so that they can find their true focus and service in life in a way that is deeply empowering. You have to factor what sign is on the rising in this case and look at the issues that come up with Pluto in the first combined with that particular rising sign.

@ Timri Wade, look for harmonious aspects like trines and sextiles for support or ease of wealth or even a square or two can push you to gain wealth with your own efforts. Aspects involving Jupiter to your outer planets can be helpful for that.

You just need to look at which house it is actually located in. If it's on the cusp of the 12th and 1st then it influences you through both of those houses. I would factor in both but you may relate more with the 1st house Pluto actually, especially if Pluto was direct at time of birth.

When you have so much Scorpio it is important to strive for the higher expression of the traits of the sign rather than stay in the lower traits indefinitely. If so you want to look at the sign placed on your 7th house cusp, to see what you attract in significant relationships and then look to the nature of your Mars sign and what aspects it receives if you are referring to males that is. Aries harmonizes very smoothly with Leo, Gemini, Sag & Aquarius. I personally have Scorpio Rising and have often had good friendship with Aries females, but there was usually other things we had in common like the same moon sign or strong Neptune or placements that harmonize with my own.

It intensifies your emotions for one, and highlights issues around the 2nd house. So anything related to intimacy and your physical body. You may feel extremes to do with self worth, highs and lows in this regard and you may have felt at times in your life vulnerable physically as well as self protective. If your moon is is the 2nd house (?) then your view of yourself may not be clear, like you may not see your physical self clearly, you may feel a harsh energy to do with self worth and physical body issues. It may be a fight for your self worth and financial independence in some way or you may feel very possessive about yourself and what you own and what comes from you.

The only thing I can say without that is there is a real need for authentic self expression and this could take physical form such as through the body. If you have any Leo, Virgo, Taurus or Pisces in your chart it may come via something creative like art or dance or similar creative outlet. You do need to watch for extremes with your health but you could as part of your life path experiences highs and lows in this area of life affected by the moon pluto conjunction.

Natally this would depend on a couple of things such as how the Saturn and Pluto aspect your Sun, Moon and Rising etc. It can mean your start in life is quite difficult, many obstacles and power struggles but an eventual coming into your own power, although slowly. A real lifetime of learning about power and the right way to use it. You can be a teacher to others also in some way but you need to face your own inner darkness in a way and work out how to use your power in it's higher form as these two planets can be very heavy and potentially destructive if you allow yourself to go to the darker levels of expression.
