I have this in synastry with my daughters dad and I am so grateful I got out alive. My Pluto squared his 8th house Mars. He had the aspect in his own chart too and he was a Scorpio sun and mercury. We had a lot of really beautiful aspects too, and his Neptune squared my moon too. It was so hard to quit him no matter what he did, no matter how much he hurt me, cheated on me, hit me. He brought out an extremely insecure part of me. There was a deep unconscious part of me that liked pushing his buttons until it went so far. It was the most alluring, disturbing, sexually intense, intoxicating, and terrifying relationship.

It's because she's ready into the negative aspects of Mars in Scorpio in synastry.not realizing that it depends on which decan the Mars in Scorpio is in matters. So really it's about the degree and how it aspects the rest of the synastry chart.

I’m a Sun-Pluto in Libra in the 6th house. His Mars conjuncts this within 2 degrees. His Scorpio Moon and South Node conjuncts my Scorpio Venus, Vertex, and Uranus! The most wonderfully deep and significant relationship I’ve ever had. And amazing intimacy. I think if two people are mature enough in their evolution, these kinds of connections have the potential to create incredible positive connection. We are both very deep and intense people but have learned to control the ego.

I have Pluto/Mars/Lilith conjunct in my natal. Also there is my Sun/Moon midpoint. So, every relationship I have has Pluto conjunct Mars as they're always close enough to my age to have their Pluto in orb. I don't resonate with being a psycho satanist. :)

Hi could I ask what the maximum orb for the conjunction would be? I have this aspect with s/o in a 9 degree orb so not sure it counts...but my mars is also in his 8th house which I've heard is a very similar energy. Do you think this conjunction would be felt?

I thought maybe because we both have this aspect natally (conjunct and opposition in Scorpio and 8th house) that the 9 degree conjunction in synastry would be felt quite strongly but I've been told orbs are only extended to 10 degrees for luminaries. Otherwise 8 degrees max. But in your experience even up to 10 degrees has an impact? We also have the square in composite :/

It sounds to me like it’s pretty hot chemistry between you. Can be enormously passionate, magnetic attraction. Scorpio definitely needs that in a relationship. No good or bad. You need to look at the whole chart.

It depends who the person is to you , say your mom or a partner. if there was trauma involved and what houses are aspected. Margaret Rowson Well... in my case it’s very “special” because once someone’s Pluto hits my Mars in opposition or square it will also hit my Sun and Venus as they are in a tight conjunction in my chart. So in general, from what I noticed I’ve got the worst treatment ever from my family: my sister is a heavy Narcissist she literally treated me like her property and being extremely abusive and controlling. I got a lot of damage growing up with her, including serious material loses she tried to destroy literally everything that I had worked on including my personal life and friendship and so on. So her’s Pluto is in opposition to my stellium. Than my Father’s Pluto is in square. I wouldn’t say he is a narcissist, maybe I just cannot connect the dots but he was also being cold, authoritative, humiliating, manipulative and controlling.. From my friends and partners that were my age growing up I didn’t notice anything like that in extreme just some jealousy, little shitty behavior maybe some gossip here and there and kind of a hard break ups but never a a real violence / blood or stuff like that. But I know a lot of people just didn’t like me and when I was small all the teachers, hated me and didn’t even hide it.
