My son has Pluto at 28 Scorpio in his 10th house, conjunct his MC within 5 degrees. He also has Jupiter in the 10th, Pluto is trine his 2nd house Saturn and 6th house Sun. He received a full ride scholarship to a great college, studied abroad and received some very nice fellowships. He landed a nice job at a non profit, but was laid off after a year. He then hosted at a fancy restaurant while applying for jobs, and he was just hired to clerk in a law office but the pay is very low. I always tell him about his chart and how one day he will hold much responsibility. His 2nd house Saturn always makes him feel poor, so I try to help out by paying a big bill like car insurance for him. He turns 24 this summer, and he reminds me of a 40 yr. old with his work ethic and ease of handling responsibility by being so independent minded. Oh, almost forgot to add that he has a dear friend who is currently getting her PhD. in a women's reproductive healthcare rights advocate study and will hopefully one day be in charge of a border town clinic in Texas, ensuring reproductive rights to migrants and other women who are often lied to about what reproductive rights they have.

Thank you. We need more men to stand up for women's rights. I was in high school when the Roe v Wade ruling was made. It may have been poorly written, but it ensured my reproductive rights. Thankfully, I never had to exercise them, but know a number of intelligent women who did. They all made tough decisions for deeply personal reasons and I supported them all. The regressive misogyny in the US is horrifying.

Naomi, it is called indoctrination. It is having exactly the effect intended. It started out a a Republican tactic to retain unending power, but it has also been picked up by the extreme left. The left think it is going to result in the total collapse of the government and something better will then takes its place (when in reality totalitarian rule is more likely). The right uses it to create apathy, so no feels it does any good to vote, so they don't or they throw away their vote on a third party candidate without a chance of winning. In this way they stay in control and gain power.

First of all Steve I want to thank you for your rant. I live in this miserable backward state and am disgusted by the ignorance of the leadership here. Most especially when the governor is a woman. But I also want to thank you for your gift of explaining the astrological aspects because you described my son to the letter. He is a toxic narcissist and what pains me is how could I have helped to create such a despicable human being. It must be in our charts. No matter what I do as his mother I can not seem to help him see the error of his ways. My question to you is is narcissism a characteristic of a natal chart and can it be changed?
